Agreed. From all reports it was very unsavoury but, if that was his only transgression and he's behaved since, I think you have to give him a chance.Parramatta's background checks must have worked out OK, and he's a clean skin since.

Let's be fair- I think it's alleged. He sexually assaulted his assistant.
Permanent blackball from the club is required. No more jobs for the boys.
If we condone sexual assault then what the heck are we doing as a club. The dinosaurs on the board need to go, this isn't just a 'boys will boys' thing anymore.
Here's the Eels' statement on his appointment as GM. Make sure you press the "No" option about receiving Eels' updates! I read there were 80 applications for the position.Agreed. Club Statement: Eels appoint General Manager of Football
The Parramatta Eels have today announced the appointment of Mark O’Neill as General Manager of Football.www.parraeels.com.au
Not comparable.I have no doubt O'Neill is good at what he does.
But, Tim Simona was good at playing centre as well. Nobody breaking down doors to let him back.
I thought he was pissed and stupidly flopped his cock out, not assaulted her.He sexually assaulted his assistant.

“Sexual assault is any unwanted behaviour of a sexual nature that makes a person feel uncomfortable, scared or threatened.”I thought he was pissed and stupidly flopped his cock out, not assaulted her.

Yes & no.Not comparable.

The fact the club let him go afterwards look awkward.....clearly there were enough concerns at Board level.
Seems weird to overlook that in order to bring him back.
If a club that is supposedly run very professionally such as Parramatta are of the opinion he’s good enough ti work for them, surely that is also good enough for Wests Tigers ?It's not alleged.
It happened. There was an investigation run by the club, Buckets admitted it was intended as a silly joke. He got sacked the next day.

I'm sure Farah wants the team to win, but everywhere he goes, there seems to be an issue. I was not that happy to see him running the water. Now all of a sudden he can coach??Farah I believe would be a hard taskmaster, a man you don't take short cuts with on the training paddock or on the field. A great man and team mate to have in a tough situation. Like Marshall a former international whose motivation is to assist the club. Change happens when a new coach is appointed. That is what is happening now. That is the reality of the situation.
He demanded very high standards from himself as a player and he'd probably expect the same of others. I don't believe that is a bad thing in the context of WTs. Having at least two tertiary qualified assistants will also help I'd suggest.I'm sure Farah wants the team to win, but everywhere he goes, there seems to be an issue. I watched Braith Anasta on James Graham's podcast. He said that when he started doing NRL360, he couldn't believe the leaks coming out of clubs and some of the stuff officials were willing to share with journalists. How the hell do leaks still come out of the joint? Surely at the level it is at, it has to be one of the board.
Unpopular opinion...but I quite like Braith & his journalism. It's very rare that he bases what he says off rumours. He might not always be right, he might be biased (who isn't?), but when he says something, it's generally 'something'- not the fairy floss that Hooper et el come up with.I watched Braith Anasta on James Graham's podcast. The alleged incident between Farah v Furner and the exit of the latter from WTs may be unrelated. Furner was a Sheens' appointment and Marshall no doubt has his own ideas on who he wants as his assistants. In any case, there can be no lingering ill-feeling as one party has left club.

Scott Prince offered his services last year. Didnt get the job.How long until rumours about Scott Prince or Brett Hodgson joining the assistant coaching staff? I'll be surprised if it makes it past Buzz's saint, sinner, shoosh or Chammas on Monday next week.
