Staines never played centre at Penrith

I like Staines. A pretty good player and seems a nice kid as well. Fast and knows how to sniff out a try. Hope he's re-signed soon, if not already!

Luai who will be 29 by 2025, we would hope Fainu or Galvin are as good as him if not better by that stage.

If Sullivan doesn't work out I would go hard for Luai to play halfback.

I'd say he after 500-600k

He knows he's not worth that much, and won't be getting close to that. 400k would be his new max value, as a rotations player, non guaranteed starter anywhere.

But still he wants to get as much as possible, which is fair enough.

It may even be that he's tentatively agreed to terms pending us offloading someone else

Allan Fitzgibbon got dropped by North's reserve grade team for yesterday's Cup GF. I'm no Kepoa fan but Fitzgibbon isn't even Cup standard.

Also Reilly did enough for me to persist next season on his current deal and see if he keeps improving.

Naden for Iro, HSS or Isaiah TassI am with you but I would like to retain Staines and try and move on Nofa.

In regards to To’a I believe he would walk into the starting line up for the Panthers or Broncos in 2024 if he was available to them.
He’s a natural left sided player with a massive left foot step who’s been made to constantly play on the right as he showed he could play well on the right side also.
He’s now approaching the prime of his career, he’s a must keep in my opinion.

cmon, Toa would not make the top 13 for most sides in the comp, and especially wouldn't come remotely close to the grand finalists.

As a backup player he may make some rosters but most clubs have far more backline talent than us. He's lazy, defence poor and not fast enough.

I can't see the top two teams gap closing anytime soon.

People forget the broncos copped the spoon in 2020 and we lapped them at Leichardt that year with a lot their (then young) guns. They missed the finals last year. Things can turn quickly. Whether it will happen here … another story

Our club's administration is not the place for a rookie to learn the ropes, especially someone who get's so many people offside. He has to demonstrate that he both has the skills and the temperament for a job like that. He's still too immature, picking fights with people. He 'should' be a long way off our list of priorities.

Mate don’t rationalise on this forum . Some people love to death ride . Be optimistic, it’s a better headspace than slitting your wrists waiting for the season to start .
I personally have no idea . I will say this did I expect a team with a halves pairing of Jackson Hastings and Tyson gamble to make the final 6 ? God no . ( I know it was mainly Ponga having a career year) .
And who would have thought a washed Shaun Johnson and his merry band of 5/8 would propel that team to the final 4. No one .
if we can find some centres who can tackle and these halves know how to strip numbers , then we will see .
Bear in mind Canberra are definitely going backwards , if the “brooks is shit club” are right then so are manly . (I think they’re wrong , but some of you have been screaming this message for so long , here’s your chance ) . St George are planning a halves partnership of Flanagan and …. I dunno . Hunt will be at the dolphins . Will they be better ? I’d say so they’ve recruited well .
Who knows.. all I know is we will be young and frustrating to watch , because we are so young . Be positive it’s a good thing .

I think a lot of the Brooks detractors (well I definitely have) have said repeatedly that Brooks is a terrible halfback. I stand by that. He'll be a decent 5/8 outside of DCE. If someone does Brooks' kicking, passing, talking and thinking then he isn't a liability
