Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I'd be looking at Rocco Berry from the Warriors. A solid centre who can defend well and can cover FB if needed. Signed until end of 2024. Would imagine Warriors will want to re sign him but nothing as yet.
Could be onto something @diedpretty With RTS returning to play centre plus Pompey signed until 2025 & Ali Leiataua promoted to top 30 next season, Warriors may need to sacrifice someone for cap purposes.

I can’t resist.
Your method of argument is straight out of the Terrorgraph. It’s often called a false binary or an Either/Or.

I want to gently help you shake off the Terrorgraphs influence on you.

You have created a (fake) position that there are only two options.
1. Existing Admin
2. Robbie Farah.

You method works well for one liners, people who can’t think and News Corp overall. It works even better when your mates have had a few beers.

Not trying to be rude just made me laugh.

Turns out… drum roll… there are thousands of potential options who could be good candidates.

Check this picture out. It’s amazing how much power it gives you to deconstruct another position. As Wests fans we need all the help we can get there

Good premise, fallacies are rife these days.

Though, it behoves me to remind you that the insertion of the 'Murdoch Media Tyranny' trope is, by definition, a cherry picking fallacy; the use of of logical fallacies in general is almost ubiquitous in mainstream media these days, not just those outlets whose political opinions differ from your own. They all distort the narrative and commit fallacies at scale with their audiences, both on the left and the right.

A few things I really like about Reilly.
1. He was playing left centre all year in NSW cup he came up to NRL and we put him on the right and his defence held and his attack still was good. That impresses me as rarely do players change sides well especially rookies
2. When he got hurt against Manly he played on and not just played on but made 2 tackles in a row and got back into the defensive line hurt.
3. Twice during his short nrl career - he was the bloke scrambling back to collect kicks when he wasn't necessarily the bloke who should be back their - covering with effort.

Now he is quick, has good hands and a good step so attack wise he is good but those 3 effort areas above are what really caught my attention.

Even when he came across in NSW cup his deficiency was defence but it wasn't tackling - he puts his shoulder in it was just inexperience of knowing how to defend and what the lines were and of course that was an issue because switching that from 7s rugby to League its very different.
