Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

What is this rubbish?

Lee and Pascoe make a huge song and dance about going back to our spiritual homes in 2024, all the while they're petitioning to build a stadium in Liverpool?

I've never seen a more inept board/leadership team in Rugby League!

Hopefully this will be the final nail in the coffin for Lee.

It makes far more sense to play all or the majority of our games at an upgraded Campbelltown rather than a new stadium at Liverpool. But securing government funding for a new stadium, let alone an upgrade, is a pipedream in this economic climate.

Ok so Api, Bula & T'oa extended, hopefully not far away are extensions for Stef, Tupou & Blore and re-signing Staines.

Me thinks the T'oa extension & improvement in our onfield results in '24 should also dispel any rumours of Ice wanting to depart (noting Ice & T'oa good mates).
Where are the improvements in on field results coming from?

Fast, powerful, good footwork & fend. With good halves inside him & some work on his on-field attitude with a sports psych (i.e. the constant complaining look to the ref), he could be very, very good. We saw the potential at Leichhardt Oval against the Cows!
I agree he has a good skill set. My concern is his attitude off field moreso than on field. He was released from Newcastle due to not putting the effort in off field.

What suburb is the epicentre for our club moving forward? ie. both fanbase & heart of our catchment region.

In the glimpses I saw Reilly playing 5/8 he didn’t look real comfortable.
I really rate him as a quality NRL centre prospect who has the potential to really step up in 2024 if he’s given the opportunity.
In regards to our halves make up moving forward, I don’t think any of Sullivan, Fainu or Galvin would be guaranteed an NRL starting spot at any NRL club, but we are in the unique position of being able to give all 3 an opportunity and whoever initially misses out has the versatility to either earn a spot on the NRL bench or other positions if their form warrants it.
It’s a great opportunity they would not be getting at too many other clubs and Onitoni Large will only add to that competition within the next 18 months ti 2 years time.
