I wouldn’t be paying over a mill for him but he’s a type of character we need in our squad imoDidn’t say he’s not a good player. He isn’t a great one though for mine and a waste of money at north of a million

IF Fainu brings his form from the lower grades to NRL level, then we won’t be needing Luai.I wouldn’t be paying over a mill for him but he’s a type of character we need in our squad imo
100% they just had nothing left to give last 20 mins, if Luai was injury free I dare say he would’ve been cutting them to bits as well but Cleary just freakish. Even tho people don’t like Luai he can definitely be a game changer and a good signingi'm not really a fan of giving a mega deal to Luai but i think Penrith's point scoring was more Broncos defensive load catching up to them and Cleary simply playing brilliant then Cogger being a better foil in the 2nd half than Luai was in the first.

He would have been an ideal foil for any of Latu, Sullivan, Luai, Galvin, Large all of whom are runners of the football more than organisers.Maybe fulton was right about cogger.

He always has been, but the concern is he has not demonstrated much willingness to take control and step up to the plate in his limited opportunities as the dominant playmaker at NRL level.Isn't Sullivan meant to be a 7?

The hope is he’s still very young for an NRL playmaker, his dominance in the lower grades means he no doubt has the talent if he comes with the right attitude to match it.
Hopefully the hurt of not being wanted by his local club will drive him to become the best version of himself very quickly.
100% very risky signing paying overs to get him. No thanks. If Panthers have to offload any player on big dollars it would be Luai.Am I the only one here who doesn't rate Luai? He's carried by Cleary and the rest of the team. Would be another blair like signing for us.
Any decent rugby league player would have rocks in their head to play for the Wannabees despite the huge dollars they could earn. They are abysmal
He didn't quit the Tigers he was forced out.Alex Conti is set to quit the Wests Tigers and join up with the Bulldogs next season (DT)
I agree re character. Benji wants more leaders who can drive the standards required of regularly winning / premiership teams.I wouldn’t be paying over a mill for him but he’s a type of character we need in our squad imo
Well I think he sort of shaped up and threw a punch but his teammate who blindsided another guy with a coward punch was the real perpetrator. What happen there did JAC smash someone or did he get smashed?
I just think his ego would override anything else he could bring to our club.100% they just had nothing left to give last 20 mins, if Luai was injury free I dare say he would’ve been cutting them to bits as well but Cleary just freakish. Changing positions is no problem imo. Melbourne do it with players papenhousen and hynes for example.Yeh who knows how much the Griffin factor was.
He looked good in the juniors as a 7 but saints stuffed him around positionally once he hit grade.
Not our money. Players realise its a sure fire way to loser ville and can be career suicide. Luai would be best advised to stay at Penrith and keep growing his brand. An extra 2 million dollars on his next contract is probably a good reason.
As I said. Anyone can see he wants to stay at Penrith. Money does eventually talk though.
Tartaks PA?And people question the need of fulton.
When Moses leota and jwh came back on changed the game alot aswellCleary didn’t just start playing brilliant out of thin air. The way he played the first 60 was in stark contrast to the back end 20. What was he waiting for a bigger challenge?
Cogger had a huge hand in the way Cleary finished that game off.
