Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Please! Isn't he part of a threepete Premiership Winning spine? Yet you don't rate him? 🤔
Where have I said that?
I said to me he isn’t worth a million plus. I hope he’s not the player we are rumoured to have overspent on.

I'm asking our friend, who is light on possible solutions.

Just Baggin
The Australian team will play shortly featuring many of the best players in the world. They are the solution to winning NRL games, ask yourself why they would most probably laugh if WT approached them. There’s your solution.

Urge you to go back and watch that last part of the game again. Cogger was playing first receiver and as a result gave Cleary more room to playmake. Prehaps it was because Yeo wasn’t on the field that they needed to adopt that style. But then I ponder, is Cleary a better half playing off the back of another?
Wonder what that might mean for Luai if Penrith go down that path.
Cogger brought two important facets to the game when he came on.
1. Straightened the line and
2. Ran deeper into the line,
both changing the defensive set up of the Broncs. Simple but effective use of a sub.

And that makes it even more impossible that it could be him. In the lead up to a grand final, or in days immediately afterwards, he's not going to be worrying about where he's playing in 2025. If he had an agent then there was a minute chance but him representing himself that far in advance, while on boat with his teammates? It's just unfathomable...
It's also impossible after the question of what position would he play is asked. The club is now flush with quality and up and coming half backs and five eights. The only position I can see Luai playing with Wests Tigers is centre.

Not our money. Players realise its a sure fire way to loser ville and can be career suicide. Luai would be best advised to stay at Penrith and keep growing his brand.
I agree with you. Wise move would be staying at Penrith. Just making the point that if someone could guarantee you an extra 2 million dollars for the next four years work without having to relocate you would consider it. Regardless of how horrendously dysfunctional the other work place is.

For 30 seconds you might but going to work everyday in a dysfunctional workplace wouldn't be in anyone's interest add to that the fact he'd never represent NSW again may also be a factor.
