Alex Seyfarth #232

Actually he doesn’t in the majority of games he has played. He is a pure plodder. And it’s a perfect example why we are coming last - we play average players.
Hrs got a long way to go but he can tackle, has good hands and seems to bob up at the right time so hes got some footy smarts.

Seems willing to learn quickly .

Reckon his going better than big Keith Galloway at a similar stage and age did.

Too simplistic to say that. The problem was the backs and the halves. Blind Freddy would tell you this.
I agree that the outside backs are problem number one. Problem number two was probably injuries to spine players following a disrupted pre-season. I still maintain plodders won’t get us further up the ladder. Especially if we give them the ball on tackle 5 and they get dominated.

Well that's a game plan problem not a forward pack issue.

How would you best utilise two very similar smaller forwards who lack any leg speed?
Can we get forwards on the same coin that will do a better job? That's the question you need to ask. A team fall of superstars won't fit in the salary cap.

I can understand supporters feeling underwhelmed with Twal and Seyfarth extending.I thought Twal was our best foward towards the end of the season, also Seyfarth looked like a first grader when given the opportunity this season.
Not saying these Lads are elite, game breakers ,but both can be pretty solid role players.
Having players wanting to stay is really refreshing.A crucial part of success is cohesion, something we’ve lacked for over a decade.
