Might be a lesson for our youngsters to keep at it and rewards will come. Might be a lesson also for our club to stop throwing talent away if they haven't quite made it yet.

Both. I started as an apprentice carpenter and I still have some of the first tools I bought with our first year tool allowance.

Man’s useless without a tape measure, and if ya not on the level Merlot, then you’re on a slippery slope.
Biggest issue is most of those tools aren't all that sharp.
