John Muggleton, played with Parra and , at one stage, ended up Wallabies defensive coach.I may be wrong, but i think he also had a brother playing for Balmain as well.

Where did you see he’s not signed? I thought he was offered the opportunity to T&T over summer unless that was a Warren Mac deal that’s been voided.
Disappointed that Jacob Kiraz stayed on at the Dogs for a few more years. Would have liked us to have a crack at him for 2025. A quality backline player like him is what we need.
He was playing injured the second half of the year. I wouldn’t give up on him yet. Monster work rate,I reckon Kiraz fell away this year and will continue to just be a first grader year after year
We need to offload some deadwood somehow like we did last year with Lids, Muza, etc. then we can keep the good ones like Blore. Also then not have to take a crap deal from Bellend.Blore for Olam.
Is it a good idea? I actually think it is. And I like Blore, and don't want to lose him.
BUT.
We are stacked with good middle players as well as second tier types as well. If there was no Fa'agutu or Lualili'i ready to step up, I'd be against it. If there was no Pole, Utoikamanu & Klemmer, I'd be against it. If Seyfarth & Twal hadn't re-signed, I'd be against it.
But...all those things are in place. That's not including young Miller & a number of even younger prospects coming through.
Olam IS older. But not OLD. I've seen people say he'll be our next BJ Leilua. But he won't. BJ had a history of questionable character issues. Olam is practically a saint. Unlike Suli, Olam's work ethic isn't questioned. He suffered one serious injury & couldn't reclaim his position permenantly over players like Reimus Smith & Meaney. They are not AJ Kepeoua. They are genuine 1st grade quality.
We have a young squad. We have a VERY young backline. Olam could provide leadership qualities for those around him. I see him more as a Pat Richards type signing than a Leilua. He lost his spot through injury, not ability.
I'll continue beating the Hymel Hunt drum too. Hunt outside Olam solidifies one side of our defence. To'a & Tupou on the other side offers more strike ability. We are weak on both edges. Surely it's better to be weak defensively on only 1 edge?
Yea that’s not exactly right about Olam… He was dropped for bad form (awful defensive reads) in round 21 and couldn’t earn his spot back from Seve and Tonamaipea who are pretty much reserve graders lol only came back after a concussion to TonamaipeaBlore for Olam.

Ahh the annual deadwood clearance. Is it that time of year already? We need to offload some deadwood somehow like we did last year with Lids, Muza, etc. then we can keep the good ones like Blore. Also then not have to take a crap deal from Bellend.
I hope so, getting rid of Musgrove was as good as a signing. It was a lengthy contract too from memory. Imagine getting rid of flippers right now and being able to just sign Olam without any haggling from the storm.Ahh the annual deadwood clearance. Is it that time of year already?
Not going to get let go anyone of AJ’s lack of ability and expect another club will take him. Stuck with him till his contract is up.I hope so, getting rid of Musgrove was as good as a signing. Don’t agree, Olam is on the massive slide and frankly played in a great system at the drizzle!Blore for Olam.

I thought the same with Muzgrove but miracles can happen and I have faith, hallelujah!!!Not going to get let go anyone of AJ’s lack of ability and expect another club will take him. Stuck with him till his contract is up.
Given no announcement was ever made (flegg signings rarely are) we'd have no idea what his situation is and neither would zero tackle. However it would be highly unlikely that a highly rated young half who was on a development contract would switch clubs midseason on a short term deal. Zero tackle even confirmed he was doing NRL preseason with us this summer, so he's on a train and trial deal as a minimum![]()

Would you expect me to think we would?Did you expect us to?
Haha yes it is grab your broom mate the time has come for the annual Wests Tigers clean the crap out .Ahh the annual deadwood clearance. Is it that time of year already?
Flanno will have to build within. Why would you want to go to Dragons, Ben Hunt wants to leave, their forward pack isnt the best. Hooker position is not strong either. The blokes at DT and foxsports just make it upIs anyone in the media going to link the Tigers to Luia? 😂…
Brent Read has got him going to the Dragons as Flanno always gets his man apparently…
Might have to wait for his new agent to start spreading rumours the Tigers have offered $1.4m a year to get his price up …
Not really, but why bring it up.Would you expect me to think we would?
