On paper Manly have a bottom 2 pack in the comp. Only pack you’d argue is worse is St George.

If they are all fit I reckon they are one of the teams that can win the comp. Will they all be fit ? They also have Aloiai and he is a bad influence and could implode their team.
It'll be interesting.
Haumole is the only one that the opposition should be scared off. Everyone else is either average, or have lost their touch due to age and injury.

Maybe so, but look at ours this year on paper and how it translated on the field. Ice played like Jane most the year.

They completely smashed our pack last season. On paper we are better but our guys really didn't perform last season. I know someone will bring up the stat that we made decent metres but that argument is pretty weak when you consider Manly rolled us.

Our forwards were not the problem this year it was our backs who seriously struggled & hampered the side. The Ice criticism on this forum is strange to me. He received no decent ball from any of his halves partners & people expected him to work miracles.

That’s a bold claim. Turbo can barely stay injury free and DCE while good, he’s starting to lose his touch. His form for Australia is proof of that. If Manly have any chance of making the 8, they either need Turbo to not get injured or DCE has to go to another level or best result both happen. You’re just hoping Brooks will finally get to play finals footy, and has gone to one of the most inconsistent teams to try and achieve it.

I disagree with your comments about DCE. His season for Manly this year was the best i’ve seen him play in years.
Easy game plan against Manly.
Shut down DCE and their electric backs.
Brooks isn't a threat, standard passenger.
Beatable team in 2024.
DCE was Manly’s best back this year I’ll agree there. But the form he showed for Australia is proof that while he did good, it’s beginning to take a toll on him. If he retires from rep footy it may help Manly going forward, but DCE even with that form still did not get Manly finals bound. Brooks alone is not gonna change that and Turbo is lucky to stay injury free these days. At this stage I don’t see Manly finals bound for 24.
That’s gonna be the key to victory. Manly have good outside backs. Halves they have one good one, one average at best and a fat mess who is out of puff quickly. Forwards apart from Haumole are average at best. Manly I don’t see finals bound next year.
