What does that emoji even mean. I’m sure there’s an expert in emoji language on our forum, prehaps we can ask the body language expert if he knows a couple?
It’s a Tiger with an eyes wide open emoji next to it. I think a pretty well educated guess based on publicly announced info is that the Tigers chased Bradman Best and used Luai’s signature as a selling point. Best likely called their bluff and this was his tongue in cheek way of communicating that to Luai. It’s a guess of course but anyone think it’s a far fetched one??? We aren’t exactly a club who nails these situations are we.

I think Toupou should eventually play centre, with one of the young wingers coming in, but Olam would be good for a couple of years.

I might even start Toupou and Toa in centres, with Staines and Nofo on wings. Toupou hasn’t filled me with confidence under the high ball
I remember when Slater first started at the back his taking of bombs was problematic. Tedesco imo has never been a consistently safe bomb taker. Bula even at this stage is better.

Wests Tigers are poised to offer a four-year, $4.5 million offer to Jarome Luai in a bid to snare the most prized signature on the open market.

The Tigers have had ongoing talks with Luai and his manager and are planning to lodge a formal offer on Thursday. Sources with knowledge of the situation, not authorised to speak publicly about the matter, said a contract could potentially be put before Luai’s management before close of business on Thursday.

The development comes after his masthead revealed that Tigers coach Benji Marshall had personally made a secret pitch to Luai at the Penrith playmaker’s home.

The Tigers deal will dwarf a Panthers extension offer of $1.7 million over two years, which Luai has so far opted not to accept. Marshall believes he can build the club around Luai, who will get the chance to be the chief playmaker if he opts to shift from the foot of the mountains.

The Luai interest comes at a time when there is intrigue over David Klemmer’s future at the joint-venture outfit. Klemmer is contracted until the end of 2025, with a mutual option for the following season.

However, the Tigers won’t stand in his way if another club is prepared to offer a long-term deal.

More to come

Don’t know why we continue to leak our intentions while clubs like the Bulldogs don’t reveal anything. This is part of the reason why we keep losing these battles.

It can’t be that hard.

J Luai gives our club increased legitimacy that we are back on track.

It would help us retain Papalii and some of the young guns coming through!
How on earth can you describe us as being “back on track?
We are travelling headon, directly at a third spoon.

Interesting… Panthers amount and years leaked + also Best details leaked also to me indicates it’s the players management group leaking this one not from the club.

More likely to be player managers at this point and even that’s without full knowledge of moving parts.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 🔥

You know him better than most on here

This also sounds like the worst self-help book ever.
As George Carlin. There is no such thing as self-help. If you’re reading a book from someone else, that‘s help. If you did it yourself, you didn’t need help.

Looks like it. I guess the muppets at fuxs news need to change it slightly to run the same story again.
Lol, it will be $5.4m tonight and $19m by the weekend. Media are so accurate.

I guess Inflation is tough right now..

If this is how they negotiate contracts now with all their prospective recruits, maybe I need to send my resume down to the Tigers too.
