You know what else hasn’t worked for about 5 years now, having so many dud calls to compete against. Given a fair chance we could shake the comp up.

With a good start and further combinations forming, these guys could break the curse!

Benji right in the middle of it. That concerns me but let's hope it works. Samuela Fainu looks like a beast as well.

Our past coaches weren't getting involved with the training drills, it was more like go fend for yourself, going thru the motions type of thingy
Benji is a leader, the lads will listen to him, and with him present there calling the shots, man it's good

If our halves were so bad, how did they beat Penrith and put 60 points on the Cowboys?

Coz they had 2 great games out of 27. Apart from those two wins, the rest of the season our halves were very bad.
And you know it 20/40 !

My line of thinking is he is the coach and he shouldn't be having fun playing footy with the boys. I bet that is something that he misses and loves as well.

I can see the other point of view as well. Sometimes someone getting in there and stating run it here and look for the dummy here or whatever might be good.

I like your positivity. Let's hope we get some more wins this season.

I think he is some sort of defence coach, or a back up second rower if Ice orBates get hurt.

Started as Performance Coach for Wests Magpies NSW Cup this year but was promoted to NRL Assistant Coach and will remain in that role in 2024.

Wouldn't be out of the realms that in 4 or 5yrs time we could have 3x Fainu, 2x Laulilii and 2x Large brothers all playing first grade.. would have to be record.. now that's a family club..

Is it just 2 Laulili boys in that family? Also who knows if they’d even kick on but how many Saukuru boys are there? Off the top of my head I can think of Apisalome, Livai and Solomone.

It’s just Luke and Kit Laulilii (at least that play footy).

Three Saukuru boys (Apisalome, Livai and Solomone) + the other Livai Saukuru who played NSW Cup for Magpies this year (think he’s a cousin).

Solomone the only possible future NRL player out of the bunch, in my opinion.
