Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Also even if Laui signs a 4 yr contract - that would mean Fainu and Galvin are only 21/22 when his contract is up same as when Sullivan's is up. That's a good time to be coming into fulltime NRL playing. No issue with 1 or both of them playing bits and pieces over the next few years as they develop and be ready for full time NRL in 4 years

Plus with Galvin's size imo he will end up a n edge backrower

Or do a Moses and a Matterson .. use the mental and physiological excuse to get out of your contract .. ;-)

Honestly .. we would have to be bloody mad to let Galvin go .. the most talented, highly rated junior in the game is on our books .. yes we haven't seen him play anything except school boy footy .. but this kid has it all .. its now whether or not he can transform his game and step up in against the big boys (men) in the NRL. Yes he's only young but he big lad and will only get bigger with on training during the off and on season of the NRL .. he might get a run in the NRL next season (2024 season) .. but definitely the 2025 season he'll be ready to step up to the NRL.

The question we have now is .. do we hold to this kid .. or do we use him as a trade piece to possibly get Luai .. ?? Big decision we have .. we have in the past let players go cause our club didn't think they were good enough for the NRL: the Fox, Ryan Papenhuyzen, Tevita (Junior) Tatola, Taniela Paseka .. and of course we kept Brooks over Moses .. so we have a good history of making mistakes .. :-(

Get Luai in ‘25 , keep Galvin

With any normal 18 year olds what you are saying would be true.
Latu Fainu and Lachie Galvin are talked about in the highest echelon of 18y.o talent, therefore if they even go close to fulfilling their potential over the next 1-2 years, they would be expecting to be regular NRL players and not waiting in line.

What about you Vicious.... how's your life doing.....you family regard you in the same echelon? Hope you not waiting for these 2 to make your life complete
All Wears Tigers supporters should be praying these 2 along with a handful of others live up to their potential and help Wests Tigers become a premiership force sooner than later.
If we lose them or they don’t live up to their potential, it will likely mean another 10 years of rugby league misery for Wests Tigers fans.
