Chances are it was because he was already signed to a marquee club. Would have looked pretty silly to leave them for us when he already had a contract there. Everyone hates Penrith, thinks they have an immoral club, who will do anything to win, Do we think if we sent a promising junior there for a year and Penrith liked him that they wouldn’t try and get him to break his contract with us. That’s why I hate the idea of player swaps. Too much grey area and potential for club’s to the dodge. It seems like it only a one off anyway. No other clubs have attempted to do the same since. Maybe for the reasons I stated.

Tuaki was never over confident. Just did the job. However you are correct. Doesn't hurt. There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance.

I'd say Benji danced both sides of that line but not with the win ratio Luai has. Just from the top of my mind. He came across a bit arrogant. Not as he matured.
