Interesting words from Jayden
Fair enough. The guy is obviously loyal to them. But when a first grade halves opportunity comes knocking, you do not say no, especially when Benji is the one knocking.

Benji & Robbie used to say similar things. He’s a kid who grew up in Wollongong it’s understandable he feels that way. He’s here & he came to pre season training 3 weeks earlier than he needed to. He’s committed
I know. I don't think there is much to it. Just a discussion point. He will be fully committed I'm sure but I'm sure in the back of his mind the "who's to know where my career is going to end up" statement could refer to instability at the Tigers. I doubt if he joined the Storm or Broncos he'd say that

Why would we pay $550k (as reported) for a 14?
Pay Sullivan $550k as a 14 is a Horrible decision.

That said, yea there are players who I would hire in a second to play 14.
Craig Wing, later in his career was a ballistic 14 and got an Origin selection based off his versatility and try scoring ability at 14.
Tabilo Fistio... ok the Hammer owned the role at the Cowboys. Versatile gun, could rip up the opposition when they were set up against the normal Cowboy squad.
Ben Barba did a similar role at the Bulldogs.

Any of those 3, in their respective primes - Barba's idiocracy would be awesome as 14.

why 14 and not 1 or a center? Some players have lower energy, but very fast movers. Bringing them at 14 means the opposition is a little more tired and they just exploit that. Also good for a versatile player who isn't the best defender as they can jump into the existing squad for injuries and just mix stuff up.

We really don't have a player like this. The closest would be an in form Doueihi or AJ Kepaoa. Maybe Sullivan can do this, but from what I have seen he isn't that kind of player. Fainu is a possibility.

He did some great things in that game but ultimately we won that day, so for all the flashy brilliance, the lack of consistency didn’t get the job done.
Haven't really seen him play all that much apart from that game but thought he was a real game changer and we looked a bit shaky from the time he came on.

I think he only played a bit over half the game and scored the majority of St.Georges points with 2 converted tries, so he came pretty close to pulling it off. I have to say I was pretty impressed but at the time I thought he came across as a little smart arse, but since then have seen a much humbler side to him.

A lot of Tigers fans I've seen are saying they're changing clubs if Luai signs. How bloody good is that! Get rid of these bogans. We don't want them. Where was their manufactured outrage when Russell Packer, Matt Lodge and all these other deadshits were at the club who have actually been serious criminals and a menace to society

It’s about the billionth time I’ve read how Bud ‘carved us up that day’

no one seems to mention ‘us’ are the back to back spooners…
But Cmon, we can move from bottom of the barrel 17th position.
Too... 16th!

Isn't that something to look forward too?
