Short balls might be his thing. But long passes isnt.If he can become a ball playing lock ....why not turn him into a ball playing half .....
Might just need a game managing halfback next to him.

Doubt it. Yeh they are interested but if they spend 1 mill plus on him they wont be able to spend much on front rowers. They desperately need fron rowers.Hope I am wrong but I have a horrible feeling that he will go with Gus.
Well everything I have ever heard about him from people that actually know him is that he is a terrific young man with excellent morals and a natural leader.I'm just hoping he has some morals and once he committed to us he honours this unless Panthers change his mind. If he says no to us and takes Dogs offer he will not have a very good rep out there IMO.
The NRL will amend this rule soon so it's just the 2 clubs once a player agrees.
Dogs would have spoke about money before he announce he was leaving so that is a load of rubbish.
Agree think it's being timed as a Christmas day announcement perhaps coincidentally but think the wests tigers marketing dept will make out he's our gift for Christmas. The fact Boxing Day (26th December) marks 10 days after Luai accepted our offer (not signed anything) on the 16th is a cool coincidence. Hopefully means the gift comes on time
I heard from a close family member today who is good mates with a current Penrith player who was in the huddle with Jarome for his announcement yesterday morning at training that he told the team he’ll be leaving the club after the 2024 season and is going to the Wests Tigers.
I know that’s what was said yesterday by some reporters however I usually believe very little of what they write. I also became concerned myself when Jarome posted his cooling comments yesterday lunchtime.
I’m always sceptical myself with reading information like this as well so take it how you like however this puts my mind at ease.
Another odd bit is even though Jarome did tell them he’s all in for season 2024 with Penrith I wouldn’t be surprised to see him head across to us early next year. I believe there’s a slight possibility something could happen there, even though Penrith aren’t keen to release him early, apparently.
Anyway just thought I’d share what I heard 👍🏼🐯

I think we all did.I recieved my xmas present last week but being a greedy bugger i will take this also
Forgive me if I did...!!Don't forget Brent Naden
Its the RLPA. Newton is a clown whos about himself and making headlines. Players should get paid well but somethings including this 10 day period is just rubbish. All it does is make the managers have another bow to their string in negotiations. This new system the NRL have, is a load of bullshit,
From the time he say's he agrees to join the West Tigers but from that point on Bulldogs and panthers still can outbid the Tigers before that 10 day period expires,
If the other Clubs have not outbid us.
Then Jarome signs on the dotted line, and he will play for us in 2025.
So the boy is not secure yet.
All the NRL have done with this new idea,
Is created a monster that is a weapon the player and his manager can use against the Clubs, as a further way to blackmail clubs for higher salary cap payments.
What was wrong with how we previously signed players ???
Feels like a Politis/Gould conspiracy to have a final crack at anyone they choose to,potentially upping the price at the 11th hour for genuine bidders, whilst simultaneously working out the brown paper bag/investment unit at wholesale price/free use of cars benefits implications for desired playersThis new system the NRL have, is a load of bullshit,

Agree - managers who have got more than one interested club in their players must be loving it.This new system the NRL have, is a load of bullshit,

Start with signing Terrell May and we get Taylan May as a package. Also, we should sign Jesse McLean. Looks very goodLuai might be able to share some Intel on what up & comers we should be talking to, from Penrith.
Might be some good prospects we could steal from under them....
Just on the new he is not at Penrith training today because he has signed with the Tigers is he for 24 or 25 ?
Laundy...Yeah. Thats on the books. There's extras for sure.
