For the time being, he needs to focus on improving structures, procedures, and operations within the club and that's why he has been head-hunted. Change the way Wests Tigers do things - what successful clubs call the [insert club name here] Way. This has been the major flaw in the club over the past 15 years.
Moving the club to another base or primary home ground without addressing systemic issues only shifts the same problems from the inner west to the greater south-west. They don't just magically disappear at a new joint.
Unfortunately, it's not something you and I will notice immediately which will probably annoy many of you, but it's transformational change to the way Wests Tigers execute everything that will give the club a competitive advantage, as he did at Penrith and Souths.
