Any news on how the review‘s findings and recommendations may affect the club?
So far all I’ve seen is the sacking of the board and CEO, which is a strong indication that the HBG have no idea what they’re doing, but we already knew that, right?
So where to from here?
Hagipantelis said there are “46 or 47 recommendations.” Would any involve improved policies and procedures? Anything to give fans some hope for the future direction of the club when the euphoria of the sackings drifts into the historical archives?

For the time being, he needs to focus on improving structures, procedures, and operations within the club and that's why he has been head-hunted. Change the way Wests Tigers do things - what successful clubs call the [insert club name here] Way. This has been the major flaw in the club over the past 15 years.

Moving the club to another base or primary home ground without addressing systemic issues only shifts the same problems from the inner west to the greater south-west. They don't just magically disappear at a new joint.

Unfortunately, it's not something you and I will notice immediately which will probably annoy many of you, but it's transformational change to the way Wests Tigers execute everything that will give the club a competitive advantage, as he did at Penrith and Souths.

Agreed.
A lot on here think that now changes have been made to the board and coaching staff, everything will magically fall into place and the team will just start winning.
These changes are the beginning of us starting to turn the corner. We still have an enormous amount of weaknesses compared with the top 10-12 clubs.
Patience is required here…I can’t see us making the 8 again until 26 at this stage unless we attract another really good middle and some outside backs.

Mate you come back a week later to have a crack, but Im disrespectful. Sounds a bit like an infatuation.

Go and find a post of mine where I "outright abused" someone, post it here and Ill report it myself.

Correcting people who are wrong and being correct isnt "abusing" people because you dont like me.

Mate I have no idea who or what you are talking about. I have never been a mod surprisingly.

Its a little ironic bitching about someone wanting the last word and then pouncing to reply to a post thats a week old. No mirrors at your place?

Thats an obvious statement IF. I'm not asking for a change in the company's constitution. Just a more transparent/honest approach on a few areas that need improvement. The reason they can't or won't do this is probably the same reason the club is in this mess.
There is one change in the Club's SOP, as announced by the interim CEO, said he won't be recruiting players who are unwanted by the Head Coach. But is this a personal preference of the CEO? Will it be back to Business as usual in 6 months?
One of the problems associated with high staff turnover is lack of continuity in the behaviour of the organisation. The very thing which fosters success.
If the supporters didn't matter, then why is the club continually sacking people?

Hey MIsty...I wasn't having a crack at you.
I was actually asking Jirskyr to show how many times you have been disrespectful etc. to back up his argument,
because I don't think he can as I don't think you have been over the top with your posts.
Have your thoughts/posts been strongly worded...yes, I feel they have, but I certainly haven't seen anything to suggest you have been rude etc. as jirskyr has said.
I'm actually trying.... [my wife says I am Very Trying 😛 ].... to support you!!
So, 'my fault' for not getting my words and meaning across effectively, and my apologies 😢 for upsetting you.

It seems like old age 👴[ I've got more hair than him though 🙂 ] has caught up with me, as it seems like I am getting things arse-about. 🙁

I didn't actually say Misty was rude, I said he shouldn't go to war with everyone who disagrees with him.

I'm all for offering corrections, but there is a friendlier manner in which to do it, and there's no point hounding people once you've said your bit.

But case in point exactly, you have made some posts actually supporting Mistygun and he's teed off on you, because he misunderstood. Unnecessarily confrontational in my opinion.
 
WT has revealed that local construction business PAMA based in Concord (near the Tigers facilities) has jumped onboard to be the new Sponsor for 2024 & 2025

PAMA and its director Danny Tahan has had a connection with the Wests Tigers since they were established 25 years ago. The Spnsorship will see PAMA have its name highly visible on the shorts.

mate nobody here upsets me, its a football forum and credit to you for correcting and thanks for standing up for me.

Some people need to go outside and experience real life. Its a football forum and its only words.
 
I wonder if we need a thread that's called 'Let's take this outside'? Anytime a blowup starts, those involved should go to the 'outside' thread and sort it out there.

This schoolyard bickering is getting out of control, and ruins the experience for those that want to get updates and have a civilized chat.
