Official Start dates don't matter with Richo.

He is the Best thing to happen to the tigers in a Decade

The Man is a relentless Worker and Winner.

If its done, then it will be announced either way very soon.

Good question.

I honestly think it's a decent Question. It's not a foregone conclusion, but yes leaning Dogs.

Dogs:
Ciraldo as coach +
Burton pairing in halves +
Kikau, Crichton.

Tigers:
Benji as coach, which is really weird as Benji lined up in the Souths vs Penrith grand final. From memory Wayne did not send him out there and IMHO he should have. ...
Api Koroisau at 9
Staines at wing.

There is more Penrith at the Dogs and IMHO they have a better setup.
That said, Phil Gould pisses people off.

I hope Luai wants to be halfback, because that is the best reason for him to sign here.

Benji did play in that GF he got on in both halves and finished the game.

If dogs manage to match our offer I feel he would head there , the coach and former team mates and Gould would win him over , he will play 1/2 there as well so no loss for him he would also be there most talked up player same as if he was at Tigers , and then there is which team moves up the ladder further us or dogs , I feel we are better than them but who knows , results will tell the story in the end ,,I,just don’t think we have much more pull to get him , he is coming hear for the money and to be the king of the team

Bulldogs are developing a career path for Panthers players.

I don’t think this is a fait accompaniment ! Wasn’t Luai a huge tigers fan growing up ? And who’s to say he’s best mates with the guys at the dogs . Who knows the level of thier friendship . Maybe it’s not just the challenge and control , but a desire to be a legend of the club he supported as a kid . And if he comes and leads us back to the top of the table there will be a picture right there next to Benji and Robbie at the COE . No matter his accomplishments at Penrith , he will always be the Pippen to Clearys Jordan. It would be a bitter pill especially if you might not agree with it . I dunno is all I’m saying . The money doesn’t just say “tigers are desperate” it also says “we value to and think your a Star” . It’s nice to be loved .

Yep agree, I think there's a desire to prove superstar outside of panthers system and with the Money for his fam, tigers is a narrative that Jerome can stamp himself on like Benji did and how the Cleary's have.

Also, while Api also played for penrith (half of the penrith spine) he will retire soon. If Luai goes to Dogs and succeeds people can always say "oh but he has kikau, crichton, burton" etc. and say it's the penrith connection. If Tigers succeed, he will have a massive say and it is only really Koroisau who can take away his 'credit' for being a big part of Panthers' success

Would not surprise me if J.L. has opted for #2...His best mate To'o was wearing a Bulldogs Jersey yesterday...hint hint...

It was obvious in mid December nobody had any idea what the story was re the 10 day CO period

And I’m going to keep saying it until I am proven wrong. This can stretch on till March, and it won’t mean a damn thing. Because as long as the Dogs haven’t announced him, they aren’t any more likely of a destination.

And there is 0% chance he is in a CO period with the Dogs. You don’t think the media would be all over it? You’d know if he was. That’s why he’s still firmly in our camp.
