Plus they can be docked or not awarded points due to poor over rates. It’s a technical system, NRL would be proud of it, another way the fans are alienated due to not being able to clearly understand the system. I have read up on it while I was in hospital and I don’t know if it was the drugs or the technical system but I would need to read it again to know exactly how the system works.

IMO Australia are clearly the Number 1 Test side and only India are a close second which leaves us only 1 more mountain to climb and that is win a Test series in India .At our last visit there 4 tests won 1 lost 2 and drew 1 .The wicket for 3 of the tests completely negated our quick bowlers but next trip I hope they prepare a pitch that gives our quiks a fair go given they have Bumrah ,Shami and Siraj
We are now No 1 at 50 overs and later this year expect we claim our 2nd 20 over title in the Caribbean and the USA
PS This BBL circus going on -I don't really care who wins it

I certainly agree with you about the BBL as i very rarely watch it and this season i have not watched a game.I can tolerate T20 for the World Cup but that is all and even then i don't care very much.
I enjoy games where you have a fair contest between bat and ball and T20 will never allow that as it purely designed for batsman slogging the ball

Barford & Perkins, only the best rollers at the best ground in Oz.
What a pitch, I like that it started to dry out and dust up, brought the spinners into the game. Like the old days. This is the way it should always be prepared so there is always at least one spin friendly pitch for our players to get better at playing spin.

I feel the same I support my country against other countries but not a made up franchise name vs another made up franchise name with the player coming from anywhere
 
Im pretty sure they can throw Hazlewood in at the top of the order and he’ll score well against the Windies. Unless they move Smith up, whoever they bring in isn’t really going to be given a fair chance to test themselves.

Yeah I found that difficult at first, so I just go for the 2 Sydney teams bcoz I was born in NSW. I had to find a connection somewhere? 🤷‍♂️
Other than Moses Henriques I couldn’t tell you the name of any other player from the 2 teams.
In generations to come the passion for each team will grow. I seen some freaks on the tv at the BBL the other day and they had their 3 month old there??? And saying there was no merch that fit him. That’s bcoz nobody in their right mind takes a 3 month old to the cricket? But that 3 month old has two very passionate supporters for parents and may grow up loving the “family” team.
That’s how it was for me growing up, “we support the Western Suburbs Magpies as a family, you can go for another team, but the front door is that way and don’t be surprised if you find a horses head in your bed.”
Now I’m over 50 and going to a press conference in the hope of getting Luai signed on my hat??? 🤷‍♂️
Go the Tigers!!!
Go the Sixes!!!
And go the… shite I can’t even remember the other Sydney teams name?🤪🤪🤪

Its a crap system. In the current 2 year cycle, South Africa will not play Australia or India even once.
 
So little Davey made up a story about his supposed stolen caps hey....get his munted melon in the media for a few days extra. What a legend🔨

SA are playing India at the moment in SA, is that current series not counted in the current 2 year cycle?
I would have just assumed it was?🤷‍♂️
