Scott Fulton sacked

Definitely a bold move as Fulton is VERY close with Mario Tartak...and Tartak has almost all of our young guys on his books (TDS, Fainu bros, Feledy, Kitt, etc)
Managers are all about their commission. Fulton is no use to them without a club. He will need to get some other club to take him on and his media mates.

That is a slight concern, but could it be a stance from Shane Richardson that he does not suck up to anyone and no player manager or player is bigger than the club.
He would be experienced enough to know you cannot let player managers dictate who the club should or should not sign or re-sign.

there’s a few interviews Richo did before taking us on where he said you can’t box yourself into a corner where player managers can dictate terms to you, and that you must have the cattle lined up in your pathways to ensure these situations don’t occur.

I’d say he’s not fussed in the slightest.

The club also signed Panthers superstar Jarome Luai on a five-year deal, $6 million deal from 2025, because the Penrith playmaker had confidence in the roster rebuild that Fulton was overseeing.

Lol, yeah... sensationalism at its best.
Yes 100% it was Benji not Fulton and his close ties to players , well that won’t matter for years as we have locked them up long term , Richo on fire with his dead wood clean out

The greatest clean out the club has ever seen.

We should re-hire Jason Taylor just so we can sack him again.

From Pascoe & Lee to Brooks and now Fulton.
Nofo release would really ice the cake.
😂😂😂

You know whos next don't ya mate?

It might be about Galvin . Ie. Isaac Moses . A lot of talk about how he’s the next superstar , but everyone with a little club insight has been saying he wants out/ Moses wants him out . It also might be about removing the obvious manly / wests tension by McDonnell and Fulton doing the swapsies.
It might limit us in the mean time , but it’s pretty smart in general . Basically all the guys who caused all the bullshit are no longer here . Benji , whilst having a say was clearly put in a shit spot by the Pascoe incompetence, the Lee ego , and the Fulton white anting .
I’m a little concerned , but basically player managers get thier foothold in clubs with weak management . Brisbane with Seibold and Moses . That’s no more . Us with Moses’s , then tartak , that’s no more . Same for the warriors . The only weak management club at the moment is manly , maybe the dragons . It sends a clear message to the rest of the nrl . I think it’s a smart decision.

Obviously Benji and Richo are confident enough in retaining who they want out of the Tartak stable ie. Kit, Fainu etc. Hope so for the clubs sake.
Tartak Managed Benji for years if I'm not mistaken....
Fultons relationship with him would be no better than Benji's
- Especially now Benji is a Coach.

Richo's first Power Play backing the coach
I think it's a bit of a mistake having the boys club in charge of absolutely everything
(No accountability in that) - But that seems to be the way we're going...

This scares me.

Otherwise, know nothing about him/his operations, so don't really care. Just the above, and how it reflects on our club when it comes to the player market.
