They've come out and said it multiple times.
There are a few articles where they've been
quoted as saying sales have declined in the
last decade or so, there isn't much of an
appetite for those items. No conspiracy bro
For lamb/pringles/succulent Chinese or D) none of the above?

Jan 26 is the day that the first fleet arrived in Sydney Cove. If you are going to celebrate/commemorate/mourn something, why would you do it on another date?

Its not supposed to be anything. You and I can do what ever the hell we want, kinda the whole point in Australia. Both things happened, both are real. Do you celebrate genocide? Do you mourn this great country? Surely you , I and everyone are capable of having an adult, mature approach to something and commemorate everything great with the country whilst acknowledging and having the appropriate response to what it meant/means to indigenous people.
At this point, I’ll just fight you

You probably meant "what it meant/means to SOME indigenous people", or you have done survey of ALL indigenous people, in ALL states/territories? Can you provide a link?

No I didnt. It means something, to all indigenous people. Its not for me our you to define what it means to any of them, or any non indigenous for that matter.

Thats the whole point of my post, it should be possible to have a mature, nuanced approach to the day that means something to everyone and that something can vary from patriotic, jingoistic celebration of Australia to a dark mournful commiseration for the impact on indigenous...and everywhere in between.

Are you capable of that? I am.

Yep

Wollies and Aldi are pandering... I will boycott both.

I will be proudly flying My Nations flag this year from my porch.

Look around and remember how great this place is.
I will fly the flag too, as I’ve done most years. Celebrating with some lamb on the BBQ, Australian brewed beer, with the seekers bellowing out ‘I am Australian’.

It’s off the table, another pandemic or assassination though and watch them hit ‘eject’
Poor old Albo hitched his Wagon to the Voice which crumbled in failure

Plan would have been to then march on in his second term for a Republic referendum

Before the election it was suggested "it won't be easy under Albanese" they were very much correct

Hang on, that’s the queen?
Yep.

Still would.

Would probably do the king too tbh

OK, I’m sure Albo and his mates have another $500m to burn. Let’s have a referendum..”should we celebrate living in this great country?”
