Adam is a literal turnstile in defence - while Bula saved more tries than any fullback we've had since Hodgo!

The prism through which you view player talent is clearly skewed to attack with little attention to defence!

Firstly I do not see Doueihi as even being a remote possibility of playing NRL as a fullback moving forward after 3 ACL injuries.
Secondly although it is important and it certainly helps, no NRL team is selecting a fullback purely because they are a good defender. Fullbacks are chosen to be match winning tackle busting, creative match winners with the ball in hand.
That’s like going back to the argument where our genius coaches at the time would not select Marika Koroibete or Josh Addo-Carr in our NRL side as they didn’t believe they were good enough defenders.

Many of our fans didn’t like the idea of Benji coaching us, the only other realistic option at the time was Shane Flanagan.
Good coach, but he was always going to bring his son with him wherever he went.

Some footballers do toughen up quite a bit in their mid to late twenties, so not beyond the realms of possibility that he could toughen up and really stiffen up his defence moving forward.

I think it would be his best option. Commit to becoming a ball playing 13, has all the skills required in attack to shine in that role.

Not really. I respect others opinions. Adam ain't a bad player. And I feel more than think. I trust my gut over my half a brain. Well noted Vicious

People change Do you change Cochise as you garner more experience in life. Benji did playing football. Hence the coach today.

Well it could likely cost him 2 million plus in lost earnings if he doesn’t toughen up and make a big improvement in his defence.
Defence is a mindset after all and you would think earning an extra 2 million plus out your rugby league career would be enough inspiration to make the necessary improvement.
