One of the best Aussie comedies ever.
This was a marriage that hit the headlines back in the day - WA Mining tycoon Lang Hancock married Rose Lacson (now Porteous), who had initially been his live-in maid. (Rose was originally from the Philippines and had been on a three-month working visa.) They remained married until his death in 1992

Mum dragged me along to see this at the Capitol when I was about 8 or 9.. Surprised me she'd be into this... lots of hippies around and the smell of hashish strong around the foyer.
I reckon we musta stuck out like the proverbial dogs balls
Remember this,the most outstanding performance i have seen from a horse and it was in the Miracle Mile
"...... a horse in a million!"
He certainly was,when he broke at the start nobody gave him a chance despite him being odds on favourite but he still gave great horses a beating.The only other horse that i can remember who the punters loved the same was Kingston Town
