Nofo is a prime example of the former admnin turning a blind eye to standards.Former administration the major issue in my opinion. Sure, some players underperformed, but may have been quite different with other people running the club.

Its not even the wins for me. Its being able to defend for 80 minutes, not 50, and too actually have a style in attack because the 5 hit ups and over end kick to the cprnwr doesnt cut it for me. Absolutely hated watching this team 20m out from the tryline. Headless chooksMaybe I’m being too negative … but Im thinking 8 wins and 15 th would be ok …
more important to me is Benji getting some experienced as an NRL coach .. Stef and a couple of young forwards stepping up … and one of the young halves giving me confidence he can partner Luai by 2025
15th is still an improvementMaybe I’m being too negative … but Im thinking 8 wins and 15 th would be ok …

Don’t agree. I actually think it’s been a very busy off season for us but the way it has been handled has been very professional.
We extended Api & Bula
We changed the top
We punted a fair few people
We signed 2 backs into the squad
We signed Luai 2 weeks ago
We swapped Blore/Olam 1 week ago
We punted Nofa with minimal noise last week
We continue to push out videos of the talented kids
We started talks with Stef to extend (no noise on this where as normally there would be)
We are putting up pics of training every week
Benji has done an interview with Brent Reid
I think the difference this year to others is that the noise around our moves is very professional and it’s mostly kept out of the media.
it's been a BIG offseason (Board, CEO, Luai, Fulton, Nofoaluma), but it has been quiet in terms of what we're up to day-to-day. nothing like Sheens' PR exercise last year with Chammas, no Madge or Lee on radio, no Luke Brooks or Joey Leilua profile pieces.
it's been a welcome change. quite frankly, no one has any idea what's going on at HQ, apart from the fact that Benji wants us to compete on every play and Richo is currently restructuring the club. I think this is going to be the case almost exclusively moving forward I'm stoked. we'll know more about what we're going to look like as a football side come the trials.
I think the difference being, after the changes this speculation was all from the "professional" media and social media. Since the new faces have come on board we have not had the leaks and chairman types going on radio happy to shit can the club for their own agendas.Guess you missed the whole “will he or won’t he“ saga of us signing a 3 time premiership winner
I mean you compare us to the Brisbane's and the Manly's of the world we've been mute. Api and Klemmer both did podcast episodes, but neither of them spoke about us for anything more than ten minutes.Yes they'll ramp up media commitments in Feb
but we've been quit all off season it's been gr8
I agree no nofo will be beneficial for us in the long run... When I said it's a negative meaning the entire scenario ... Not training... RLPA... etc that's something we could've done without but it's been handled well.with the minimum of fuss and dramaThe best thing so far for me is that the "Boys club"seems to have been dismantled and only genuine people who want the club to succeed are in place...Its so nice not to see or hear Lee everyday spewing crap he knew bugger all about...
Noffa going isnt a bad thing, his attitude diminished the place and in my opinion was on big money which in turn gave him a big head,he has great talent but his ego lets him down...
I don’t see him under much pressure this season. He has a free swing. Expectations spike in 2025 though.NRL media is always slow till after the last cricket test is finished and the Australian open has concluded. So will be interesting if the gloves will be still off and the positive articles keep flowing now the media attention on the NRL is ramped up.
Got a feeling Benji will be given some latitude but he will need some early wins other wise he will get smashed like all his predecessors

Sezer and Sullivan got a little bit of press at the beginning of preseason, but that's really it. other than that, there's nothing else I can really recall.
From our club and our supporters I agree, 2024 he will be given a free ride, but I am not sure the media will be so kind if we suffer a long string of defeatsI don’t see him under much pressure this season. He has a free swing. Expectations spike in 2025 though.
There are hardly any articles ever on us moving to Perth. Even if there were, they are not worth giving oxygen to. It’s never happening.I think the he way he means quiet, is there hasn’t been 50 articles on why the tigers are the biggest basket case , and need to move to Perth . All the heavy , potentially damaging our whole offseason decisions , have been handled with little fuss , and have come and gone with a whisper and a whimper (from our former chair) . Obviously the vacuum we all shit in , means for us it’s business as usual , but for the majority of fans this has been super quiet .
Let them. Not many teams running last get a free ride in the media. From our club and our supporters I agree, 2024 he will be given a free ride, but I am not sure the media will be so kind if we suffer a long string of defeats
