Jahream Bula #269

If he’s wearing gear, he could be coming on board. Maybe not as as assistant. Maybe in a consulting or mentoring role.

“The club insists Inglis has not accepted a role with the club’s coaching staff or been brought in to help the football department, but rather as a confidant to the young fullback.

Inglis has been tasked with assisting Bula off the field as he deals with the adjustment and pressure of going from a relative unknown to a rugby league star in the space of 12 months.

Inglis watched on at training over the weekend, sporting the black and gold for the first time. He’s expected to continue working with Bula, who recently signed a $2.7-$2.8 million extension to stay at the Tigers until the end of 2027.”

It’s curious that he’s in club gear. You‘d think he only would be if he was employed.

All for it! But why don’t we get a halves coach in?? We/they need guidance, especially this seasons to young halves coming through. Matty John’s would be perfect but his dumbass brother would do. Our long kicking game needs work and they would see that!
The thing the other day that I was surprised when bula said he didn’t know his peed times. Can that be true that our guys aren’t getting timed on the speed?? Also we need all the help we can get, what about a sprint coach.

GI has an extremely close relationship with Shane Richardson. Richo helped get his business off the ground after retirement.
He is runs an indigenous Australian mentorship program.

Don’t believe he is related to Bula; he is close to Bula’s uncle is how I understood it.

Good job Richo bringing Inglis into the club.
Didn’t we move on a welfare manager recently along with the gear steward?

I get it all, but no offence but what is Inglis really going to teach anyone? Not the most articulate individual, doesn’t even know what state he was born in!
