Seyfarth has a high work rate, good attitude but his ball-playing is average. I actually think he’d be good in the edges like Garner used to do.I did think this was a possibility with Pole rumoured to be moving into the impact role. Seyfarth is a high work-rate, high effort type who will ensure we don't rush Laulili'i, and to a lesser extent Matamua and Fa'agutu.
It’s interesting how we tried to sneak Gi in.
He should have worn a hoody, sunnies and made loud animal noises walking in the car park on his way to the white elephant so as not to attract attention.
If he’s there at the members day, I’ll push Benji out of the way to get his signature.
It was better than the grand final flick pass. It’s ruined a little in that the camera cuts to another shot at the exact moment he puts the ball behind his back. What makes it so great is the fact he isn’t just floating across field, looking for a runner, he’s going at full speed, and he knew what he was doing. Aysford actually did well to see it coming. How many times are you going to expect to get a pass from that angle. We were sitting in that corner Ayshford scored in...just watching it again its amusing how bamboozled Grothe jnr looked...didnt know where the ball was...but I was exactly the same that night
It was a pleasure to make the effort to get out to the SFS those years to watch this team, so enjoyable
he should've been a backrower, but Madge ruined his development playing across a number of positions. I remember in 2022 the night we beat Souths he had Koloamatangi under lock and key.Seyfarth has a high work rate, good attitude but his ball-playing is average. I didn’t think about this till just now. Imagine having Tuiaki and Lote on the wings in 2010.

personally I think it's too late for a switch to the edge. his ballplaying definitely improved last year and I think with another preseason doing time there as a genuine lock that he can fill a gap for a year or two.
I've actually got a few friends that played against him in the 20s that said they are still astounded he made first grade. the club seemed to identify his work ethic and desire to improve early and it's kept him on full time deals ever since.I remember watching him at a trial at Belmore
like 4 or 5 years ago, he was really good in his
stint. Has a pass in him 4 sure. Added a bit 2
the kit-bag as well. Think he has an xtra gear

last year I think he made some significant progress. he's had some really good games these past couple years, but he actually came on and made a difference in 2023. if he can build on that again this preseason then he could become a really solid player we can rely on.
there's little doubt in my mind that Laulili'i and Fa'agutu will overtake him as 13 options as time goes on, but if he can continue to work hard then there will always be a spot for him in the squad, given Marshall's desire to compete on every play.
My calculation takes into account price point so therefore yes, the worst winger I’ve ever seen in my life.We have had far worse wingers at the Wests Tigers, let alone the whole NRL, you must be about 12 if you can't remember any
There’s a line in the film 10 Things I Hate About You. Heath Ledger comments on everyone obsessing over this one particular girl “What is it with this girl, has she got beer flavoured nipples?”. I can’t help think of that line when I see people pushing Seyfarth’s barrel. He doesn't have the mobility to play out wide. He tries hard but is too easily ghosted out wide.he should've been a backrower, but Madge ruined his development playing across a number of positions. I remember in 2022 the night we beat Souths he had Koloamatangi under lock and key.

Idk. I feel like it’s a small minority who rate him. I don’t think he’s terrible, I just feel pretty meh towards him. It's definately just you gunner lmao. He can play.
You can't train his dogged enthusiasm either,
he'll go up a notch or at the very least stay some
what consistent with the youngins behind him
Not often I say this but I’m with GNR, he’s been average at best most weeks. We need to expect better than mediocre to climb the ladder. It's definately just you gunner lmao. He can play.

He’s very Matt Eisenhuth 2.0 isn’t he?Idk. I feel like it’s a small minority who rate him. I don’t think he’s terrible, I just feel pretty meh towards him.
Man Jarryd Hayne is a lot like Kalyn Ponga now... had on games and off games. ..Weirdest thing,
We didn't make the 8 that year - But that side we had, and the comp that year
- If we had made the 8, We'd have been there or there abouts.
(Just had to beat the bloody Titans)
That Parra game was our GF though, Really pulled us up.
We had a better side than Parra, They had Hayne....
He was the difference in the end.
Losing Gallant and Tank over those few games late in the year killed us...
His biggest problem was that he was a lazy bastard.Man Jarryd Hayne is a lot like Kalyn Ponga now... had on games and off games. ..
Yet when Jarryd was on, man that guy was on. I remember Parra vs St george and the Saints had 6-8 defenders, Hayne ran straight through them.
Hayne clearly had that natural ability that could really turn games. But his attitude and the fact it often came down to him meant he would never reach the heights of Ingles... Still a freak of nature in his own right.
You can’t be a warlord with red hair. You just can’t.You heathens wouldn't have the foggiest of ideas,
Seyfarth is a Nordic warlord by way of Lebanon
