personally I think it's too late for a switch to the edge. his ballplaying definitely improved last year and I think with another preseason doing time there as a genuine lock that he can fill a gap for a year or two.

I remember watching him at a trial at Belmore
like 4 or 5 years ago, he was really good in his
stint. Has a pass in him 4 sure. Added a bit 2
the kit-bag as well. Think he has an xtra gear

I've actually got a few friends that played against him in the 20s that said they are still astounded he made first grade. the club seemed to identify his work ethic and desire to improve early and it's kept him on full time deals ever since.

last year I think he made some significant progress. he's had some really good games these past couple years, but he actually came on and made a difference in 2023. if he can build on that again this preseason then he could become a really solid player we can rely on.

there's little doubt in my mind that Laulili'i and Fa'agutu will overtake him as 13 options as time goes on, but if he can continue to work hard then there will always be a spot for him in the squad, given Marshall's desire to compete on every play.

about last year, him coming on and seeing him
become a point of difference was noticeable.
He doesn't know when to concede. Great attitude

There’s a line in the film 10 Things I Hate About You. Heath Ledger comments on everyone obsessing over this one particular girl “What is it with this girl, has she got beer flavoured nipples?”. I can’t help think of that line when I see people pushing Seyfarth’s barrel. Hey, maybe it’s me, but I just don’t get it.

He doesn't have the mobility to play out wide. He tries hard but is too easily ghosted out wide.

It's definately just you gunner lmao. He can play.
You can't train his dogged enthusiasm either,
he'll go up a notch or at the very least stay some
what consistent with the youngins behind him

We had a better side than Parra, They had Hayne....
He was the difference in the end.

Losing Gallant and Tank over those few games late in the year killed us...

Man Jarryd Hayne is a lot like Kalyn Ponga now... had on games and off games. ..

Yet when Jarryd was on, man that guy was on. I remember Parra vs St george and the Saints had 6-8 defenders, Hayne ran straight through them.

Hayne clearly had that natural ability that could really turn games. But his attitude and the fact it often came down to him meant he would never reach the heights of Ingles... Still a freak of nature in his own right.

I was prompted to find it on you tube, they virtually all had a shot on him in a staggered defensive line but none of them could handle him.

There was an allegation of sheparding just before he went over but the sheep baa-ed and he went over virtually untouched.

We call it “a great individual try.”
