Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Inglis was 110kg when he was fullback for Souths.
True story.
I’ve been an argument at work today over whether he was a better back or a better fullback.

It remains unresolved.

At any rate, here is Greg obliterating the majority of a marquee Brisbane side.

This endeavour illustrates almost every single skill an attacking footballer can possibly possess in the one “ package” run.

It’s otherworldly.

…and he’s all ours now!

Man Jarryd Hayne is a lot like Kalyn Ponga now... had on games and off games. ..

Yet when Jarryd was on, man that guy was on. I remember Parra vs St george and the Saints had 6-8 defenders, Hayne ran straight through them.

Hayne clearly had that natural ability that could really turn games. But his attitude and the fact it often came down to him meant he would never reach the heights of Ingles... Still a freak of nature in his own right.
I was prompted to find it on you tube, they virtually all had a shot on him in a staggered defensive line but none of them could handle him.

There was an allegation of sheparding just before he went over but the sheep baa-ed and he went over virtually untouched.

We call it “a great individual try.”

I remember after that game he poured a bottle of gatorade over his face like it was water. Remember thinking that was so grotty.

There’s a line in the film 10 Things I Hate About You. Heath Ledger comments on everyone obsessing over this one particular girl “What is it with this girl, has she got beer flavoured nipples?”. I can’t help think of that line when I see people pushing Seyfarth’s barrel. Hey, maybe it’s me, but I just don’t get it.

Not you. He hasn’t been up to NRL standard in his 47 games, maybe had 6 good games but the rest were garbage.

People focus on his effort & he is a cheap roster spot - woohoo, guess we get what we pay for.

That’s in the past, he is apparently training the house down again and will slot into the lock spot. If he does start - hope he nails it and finally steps up to NRL standard. I don’t see him as a NRL player let alone starting forward for a team who wants to play finals.

Bigscreentv I am tuned into your TV!
If Seyfarth is considered a Wests Tigers 1st grade forward in 24 then I agree that a Spoon THREEPEAT is a real possibility.
I don't mind him as a back-up option. Agree, we could do better, but he's 100% not a starting lock.

An aside . . . last night at dinner, we were talking about Inglis' mentoring role.
I said to my son that the media seems to be finally giving us a bit of respect and not heaping shit on us at every chance.
He said " did you think it might be because this is the first time you ain't doing shit things ?"
He is a stupid Roosters supporter, and so his opinion on this subject is useless . . . but funny how we see things differently.
I would disown him for being a Roosters supporter.
