2024 Pre-Season

if we dont explore the path that the Rorters did with Joseph Suaalii and got him to play before he turned 18 .. then we are nuts .. !!

Onitoni says he's a 5/8 .. but heck watch the highlights (2023) of him playing in the centres in Union ..

Yep centre is where he needs to start when he's ready for NRL, he could be lethal and give us that much-needed express speed we lack atm.

Once he turns 17 he can be upgraded to Top 30 (under new NRL rules) but cannot play NRL until 18.

Inside Centre in union is similar five-eighth in league - they do more kicking, same running. It’s almost like a second Five-eighth plus a bit of battering ram duties

Agree - he’s start in centres in NRL

It's great to have all these plans for players like Large, but they obviously have a say in it as they come off contract. With a lack of halves across the NRL, and with his resumé I'd assume there would be serious interest in him across the NRL and obviously Rugby. Why would he re-sign if we say he will play centres and he sees himself, and has interest elsewhere as a half. It's no different than Galvin we can say play him edge and/or middle but come Nov 1 2025 its highly likely that he will sign elsewhere if he has interest from others as a 6.

Realistically Benji has 2 years to figure out who is the ideal partner for Luai and more than likely lose one or two of the others.

Question is do you develop Junior for the Dolphins?
That part has already been done!

The real question is - why would you treat him any differently than another player on your roster and just pick him on form?

This is NOT a development year for the club - they have to pick the best available players for every game to be as competitive as possible.

If Junior is the best option - so be it!

Just ask Api or Klem if they want to play babysitter to a bunch of "possibles" all year!

100 % agree... Clearly they see Tigers heading up and losing their mainstream of media. They are messing with the wrong guy I believe as Richardson won't hold back pointing this rubbish out.

It pisses me off they are looking at this minor shit when Dog, Souths, Roosters take the piss out of the salary cap system and its a blind eye from Fox sports, NRL and DT..
It stinks of Brydens boy and his cronies stirring up crap...

The sooner we remove this shit-stain of a corporate logo from our jerseys the better!

Hagipantelis never ever cared about the club & is trying to trash his successors from behind the scenes.

Utter cretin!

Let’s hope someone else steps up and takes his spot out of merit without Benji dropping Tupou.

OK, so given buzz had a quote from an email from benji. Do we think it's pascoe? Fulton (maybe cc'd)..

Also, benji hadn't signed olam at that point. Once he got that experience, it's a different story.

The email went to a number of clubs so I'd say it came from the Sharks
