Not sure it was even their NSW Cup side.
Only players with NSW cup experience were Burns, Milne, Gordon, Gray.
In saying that there was probably only 3 top 17 players for Manly in Brooks, Paseka and Bullemor.
Though young Turbo ‘who also played’ will probably beat Shuster to an edge spot alongside Brooks.

Is there still a way to ignore threads
I’ve done it a long time ago but it can’t seem to work it out

How often do we still.see names like Aloia, Matterson, Moses, Luciano etc etc brought up... All ex players that regularly resurface... Brooks will be king in this regard this year there be plenty chit chat bout him

If they can get their old style of attacking with their defence back which was so effective an d impossible for opponents to contain them Brooks will play the best footy of his career... Even if they don't get that impressive swarming dominating defense back as long as their forwards are getting over the ad line... He'll go very well

His one effort won us the Panthers game. A bit lucky Cleary knocked on, but he was there and made the effort. Without it, Cleary scores and Panthers win.

You’re the one whose wrong mate. All those players you mention are grubs as human beings.

Matterson - Left with two years remaining on his contract for more money. Backed up later on by choosing a 3 game suspension over a 2k fine
Moses - Had a contract on the table for months, then complains afterwards he wasn’t valued, plus dogs it on the field
Aloiai - Signs with another a club a year in advance (which is fine on its own), but then does everything in his power to be sacked so he can leave early
Luciano - Woman basher

Brooks? - Played like rubbish for a decade, yet always treated the club with respect, and even now at Manly, hasn’t tried to throw the club under the bus

You have missed the point.
Grubs or not, they are regularly talked about on here and Brooks will be no different.

Regularly is a stretch. I don’t see any threads about them specifically continuously bumped. Comments may be made every now and then in passing, but they are not talked about on the regular. Pages of discussion aren’t devoted to them. Not even close.

Jackson Hastings was scrutinized after one season - some death riding him others curious. After ten seasons of wishing and hoping for no results, I reckon we are all entitled to have some interest in Brooks whether it is to bag him or wish him well. Don't think we are rid of him yet for a while.

Have at it boss. I guess it just shows as much as like to claim it, we haven’t moved on.
 
Interesting, The Brooks thread has turned into the “fans attitude to Brooks “ thread. The journos are calling Brooks “the buy of the century.” The Manly fans can’t believe their good fortune.
Benji wanted Brooks to stay. What went wrong? Sheens couldn’t help, saying…’You’d think a coach should have the half he wants.’
How did we manage to stuff up this one?
