Our attacking problem is API is the dominant spine player and our halves are too intimidated to over call him.

When he had Cleary he could improvise like 15% of the time.

With us because none of the halves are more dominant then him, he’s leading our attack and he’s improvising like 65% of the time.

We have no direction, shape or structure bc no one knows what api is doing.

We looked better when Simpkin shoveled the ball.

And galvin better than the others bc he calls for the ball and straightens the attack

So from 0-24:it was 18-10.

Defensive pressure was non-existent. Still not enough flair in attack but it impr8ved slightly as things went on.

Galvin looked good. Saints were bizarrely fired up for a trial. We'll see how round 2 looks, possibly we're a bit undercooked given our first game is 3 weeks off.

Lack of quality in the backs and grunt in the forwards is a real issue that seemingly is never addressed.
