Luke Brooks #167

They’re a top 4 side. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Brooks’ short kicking game go to another level. By the end of season, some will say we developed Brooks, while others say we held him back. Regardless, hope he nails it.
Get it all in brother before he plays a game.
After he does and the crapness of Brooks is still there, but in a different coloured jersey it's all down hill.

if turbo and DCE stay fit manly can win the comp. If one of them get injured then they probably miss the 8
it has so much time do with how good the cattle around you are, Brooks should have a pretty good year at 6
Winning the comp is a stretch, but if Turbo stays fit, they are certainties for the 8.

To be fair TP,I think Brooksy will do very well in the Manly side this year..Many of us from the start of his NRL career have said that the Tigers got it wrong by putting the 7 on his back and the 6 on Moses back..Moses does well in the 7 as he has shown while Brooks did very little with us in the 7,albeit we can blame the squads and coaches he had with us...
Luke in my opinion is a running 5/8 and with DCE doing the thinking and Luke doing his running,I think he may shine in the 6 this year..Just my opinion and I hope he does do well as his career needs a lift after his tenure with us...

Manly will start well then implode.
Super coach Seibold will work his usual magic.
I think some of you are trapped in a time warp where Turbo was still Turbo. He's been bog average for a couple of seasons.
Manly will be the same rubbish they were last year plus a couple of brand new Tigers off cuts and somehow they're now winning the comp.

I think they do enough to flat track most of the weaker sides. Haven’t seen them aim against a top side for a while
They went through a rough patch with injuries, coaching staff, pride round etc. but they were top 4 before that.
A lot of talk about their lightning quick backline with Saab and Koula, but they have a pretty solid forward pack too, including a couple of Trbojevics. Not to mention Brooks, I think he makes a huge difference to the team .

Regardless of whether we think he’s a running 5/8 or a stay at home half, he has all the skills and he’s quick across the ground in cover.

Good luck to Brooks. Won’t see him play much….dont care to much for the Silvertails. For him it’s been many bloody years since he had a decent halves partner. And his performances as well as the teams is proof in the pudding. Finally we will have spine, will be confirmed 2nd half of season and 2025. That’s been missing for years. Forwards aren’t too bad. Too many marshmallows, we’ll just ask opposition, and will be more evident with injuries. But the backs, well nothing to see there. Being honest there are some Reggie’s teams with a stronger back 5 bar FB than us. Anyway my two-bob. Bring it in boys!!! Put some starch in your game, only asking for 80 mins per week. Just don’t want to see Toothless Tigers!
