Large won't become an NRL centre - it doesn't pay enough for a guy of his (likely) calibre. He'll commit to rugby before settles for a centre position with WT.

He might not finish up there but plenty of top halves have started in the centres.

I think Staines is better fullback than Lomax.

Would you pay 600-700k for someone the Dragons want to let go when Galvin will need an upgrade and Makasini and Large will start to become centre options in 2025 and 2026?

You could be right, I think some of us under rate Staines.
I also agree we need to hopefully add Large and Makasini to the NRL equation sooner than later, I’m of the opinion Large will be ready before Makasini despite Makasini having an imposing physique to work with.

I can't see Adam Doueihi being re-signed for 2025 at $600k. I also can't see Lomax being signed by any club for $800k.

Dropping Adam for Zac, at $650k for 3 years makes sense (to me).

In the Knock On Effect Cup this weekend .. our Magpies take on the North Sydney Bears containing a few ex Tigers .. Allan Fitzgibbon - super fast winger .. Ben Stevanovic - 5/8 or half .. Rua Ngatikaura - hooker coming off the bench. Also in the Bears side is Matt Stimson and Nelson Asofa-Solomona.

I was disappointed that Allan Fitzgibbon left us .. but insteresting he's he's in the Melb Storm feeder team now .. if he makes first grade with the Storm and then kills it .. i'll be pissed .. lol
