Just tried to buy a membership..only get as far as one page then .get this message..

  • There aren't enough tickets to meet your request right now. Please try a different ticket category or type, with a reduced quantity of tickets.
    If you receive this message even when selecting only one ticket, all remaining tickets are being transacted by other customers.
Seems like the clinky old membership team from years back are still aboard...either that or GA @ LO is sold out

If you were just buying a jersey it would normally cost you $172.00 with postage ($160 + $12), so in reality you are getting a non ticketed membership for $9.00.

Assuming the above figures are correct it makes pretty good sense if you are in the market for a jersey.

Can someone tell Richo to cut out all the mucking around and offer a non ticketed membership and jersey deal, cut out the postage cost which they do anyway with the core membership package, and do it for $169.00 and wait for the stampede.

This would be pure Sheenius, and the ball is in your court Richo.

Now can someone tell me what is wrong with that?

If you can currently buy a non ticketed membership, get a core membership pack or $50 credit, 10% off tickets etc.

What is wrong with bringing in what I have outlined above?

People wearing jerseys around the place is free advertising and showing pride in the club they support and if the opportunity arises they can still get to a game with discounted tickets and get to club events.

People can't always commit to ticketed memberships for many different reasons, doesn't necessarily make them less of a supporter.

Someone pointed out that currently spending the $50 credit is not available on a jersey but that can be fixed with the stroke of a pen.

The biggest problem they may have is not having enough jerseys and needing to order more and people having to wait to have their order fulfilled, hardly the biggest problem you could have.

I thought he was well measured - he knows what we all feel about Liechardt Oval and he is empathetic but it's not up to standard. I'm not sure he's saying buy a couple of jumpers and we'll give you membership but I will be interested to see what revolutionary membership packages come up next year.

I don't get to a great deal of games but I'll buy into whatever the short term plan is - at least we will have a way forward. Intersting to see what the new announcements will be over the coming weeks.

The other thing that was realy great to hear and acknowledge - no leaks!

I hope he stays on

I never tried to talk to Pascoe.

I gave up on Lee when Tim appointed himself as coach after knocking back 16 applications. I was done with the third reich after that.

Speaking of merchandise I noticed the T shirt Chris Warren's wearing in the BTR vids, just a small logo and no sponsors all over it.
They have several different shirt styles this way, small logo/no sponsorship... Very appealing to me

It looks.like there's no walk in store anymore, just all online eh?

I’ve always struggled to work out what woke means. The people who use the term can’t even define it. That, or you can ask 10 different people and get 10 different definitions. But I’m starting to think what people mean by it is they are anti progress.

No there is a walk in store at concord next to the COE. Open Monday to Friday, I’ve been in there a few times.

G'day Muffstar...I don't know yet, as the young fella I spoke to when I rang Wests said they would send me an email so I could choose what was suitable for me from the various things they had to offer. But I'll be happy to just get a sticker to put on the rear window of my car.

Since then, I have been busy doing lots-a stuff so haven't checked my emails.

Enjoy tonight's game, whichever way it goes, and I'm excited waiting for it to happen.
Last time we won 3 in a row was 2018.

No one is stopping Balmain from entering a team in KOE. Part of the JV agreement was that both Wests and Balmain could have a side in the next level down from NRL. It's only since Balmain went bust and couldn't afford to enter a team that people want Wests magpies gone.

That's got zero to do with why Richardson wants to call the reserve grade team WestsTigers .. it's about branding and a pathway into WestsTigers first grade team.
As it was seen in old NYC days.
Oddly enough I'm pretty sure it was Richardson who was the architect of scrapping that comp.

Only my opinion but I think we should keep all development teams from u13s through to U18s as independent Wests Magpies and Balmain Tigers teams. I think we should have Wests Tigers teams in Harold Matts, SG Ball and Jersey Flegg as well as NSW Cup.

With the development teams we keep the two local catchments in Macarthur/Campbelltown and Balmain active and built as the graduating step into any of Wests Tigers top tier teams from Harold Matts through to NRL.

If it was like this there is clear pathway and transparency into the Balmain / Wests past history while keeping it valid through the local development structure. We need all our juniors to aspire to aiming to play for our Wests Tigers, it just seems very fragmented we go from individual teams at Matts and Ball, then at the next stage of Flegg we come together as Wests Tigers but then the next step of NSW Cup it goes to Wests Magpies. It gets confusing for everyone the pathway and it doesn't bring both Wests and Balmain together especially now we are the mighty Wests Tigers.
