Only positive for me about today is that Sullivan was okay which means hopefully Latu doesn’t have to be thrown back in and can fix his hamstring.

He was far from our major problem today which increasingly looks like it starts in the coaching box
Aided and abetted by some complete duds on the field

Just stepped in from a catch up at the pub with the boys (me being the only Tigers supporter) so had plenty of feedback from mates that support other teams and the over all response was that once we lost a centre and didn’t have anyone to cover that right side we were done.
Most didn’t blame Bateman saying he hasn’t got the speed anymore to cover that position,
Second half every one laughing how absolutely horrendous the defence was from both Naden & Sullivan no where near 1st Grade standard.
I had nothing as I couldn’t argue with the bleating obvious.
Final verdict from the boys:
Finding a Centre to place on the bench that can fill in at second row if needed.
Instead of the other way around.
Drop Naden & Sullivan because
Remember the old saying if you can’t tackle you can’t play 1st Grade ,

The team is more than competitive in most games. We lack a playmaker of quality and a few outside backs.

Luai and Turuva are great signings but we have to find another 2 quality outside backs in addition. I liked the look early of Papalli at 13 before injury moved him wide. Big Sua would be great to take over when Bateman moves back to England.

We need to move on from Naden, Staines, Bud, Sezar, Seyfatth this year. Klemmer and Bateman next year.

Only 3 backs had credible performances
Bula , Olam and Bud Sullivan
Staines a poor game but maybe can forgive one such game
Galvin did little not much in terms of line breaks and passes to fully marked players
Toa a crock .Sorry for him but he's passed his use by date
Naden - cant remember anyone putting in such a poor performance
But HERES BENJI S PROBLEM
we have zero depth ! Who the hell do you replace them with ?
Our Cup side are not even reserve grade standard more like Ron Massey cup level

Steph played 40 mins ! Not giving 100%
Seyfarth - getting tired of his antics .When the other side starts it .He then nullifies our chance of penalty
Api ,Klemm ,Paps and Pole and Simpkin ok
Because of NO DEPTH we are forced to pick teams that we know are not ideal
Only good thing today was I thought BUD was good as he surpassed expectations !

Sorry thought Seyfarth and papali were our best players. Seyfarth was aggressive and hurt the opposition numerous times, need more players like him. I think the longer Galvin plays the more and more look oks like a lock/second rower! To flow to make gaps happen, now they’ve worked him out!
I’d prefer Fainu in the halves at this point.

We are not winning which sux, but we are better than last year and years previous. I am optimistic the attack will click soon enough, they will win a few games back to back and won't finish with the spoon.
