Arthur sacked

The eels underperformance mirrored Moses absence. He is the cook in that kitchen. Silly decision to sack Arthur. Completely stuffed their season now I reckon.
Yeah I don't understand the decision to boot him now. At this point why not wait for Mitch to come back?

If you took the halfback and leader out of most clubs they would struggle, especially a club that relies so heavily on the kicking game.

Interesting career

> First three seasons they rebuilt and finished 10th, 12th and 14th.
> Then went to the semi finals.
> Then they got the wooden spoon the year after?
> Followed by 3 semi final appearances + 1 grand final
> Then a gradual decline

We love Benji, but if your WT management, would you feel more comfortable seeing someone like him being in charge of our project?

There are exceptions like Bellyache and uncle Wayne, but most coaches have a limited life span at one club and their longevity is dependent on their roster. When the roster starts to slide the coach is usually the first to face the firing squad.

Parra have some ageing players and probably need a mini rebuild. They also have a big chunk of cap tied up in a few players that may restrict their recruitment.

Bottom line, love seeing them as a basket case of a club

So please explain the exceptions? Let's get to the meat of it. Benji. Hope you are listening

We are not a basket case at present, we are just a club with a roster that sucks, and the wheels are turning slowly in the right direction…even if the results have been crap.

Benji is very lucky Souths and Parra have belly flopped, because they are taking the media attention away from camp Concord
