I think he will stay when no other club offers him what he wants and he has no other options but he will come out and say he is staying because he loves the club.

I don't think we paid way over for Laui as he is the teams main player and the key position.
Salary cap increases yearly and it shows how a team goes without a top line half.

I think he will do wonders to us and hold others accountable and judging by his performances without NC he will be fine.
Rather spend it on him then have 3 wakehams in the team.

I have no problem with what he was paid … as he wouldn’t have come here otherwise …. I do suggest he was paid about $200k a year overs though… plus he got the typical 1 year extra added onto the length of the contract

Not tough enough for the Rorters, no offload to compensate IMO.
Crichton runs harder, faster and stronger from the 2nd row.

They may see the opportunity to mentor the likes of Miller, Pole, Faagutu and work with Api & Luai appealing.

He's cooked. They can barely get 20 minutes out of him. A 2 million 3 year contract for another cooked "Leader" is the last thing we need.

I feel like you have suggested just about every player in the league at this point.

Centers, I agree but we need 1x not 2x from that list. We have Olam who is an excellent left Center.

I think second row and Lock is where our focus needs to be. The shame of our current squad is that our forward pack is actually decent.
Nathan Brown is a No, unless 1 year deal.
I doubt Coen Hess would come here unless the coach changes. But I would be tempted to open the account to bring him here. With Bateman gone we would have the money. He isn't exactly what we need in the second row.

1. yallah you know Cotric is 25?
2. Olam we have, yes, but firstly, I dont trust the guy. I think he will be vulnerable to slip into lazy or just expire. But even so, we need depth, because of injuries. So let's say we have a Iro and Olam combo, Aitken can be on the bench to cover back row and slot into centre when needed or if they are out long term he comes in as starting centre. Depth has been our issue.
3. Nathan yes a one year deal, Manly gave him a train and trial and upgraded him and he is playing well. He is a good moneyball signing.
4. Back row are going to be a critical issue next year. There are a few out there to buy though, Give Angus the million. I'd still keep Bateman too.
