We can't expect to play 10-15 minutes of decent footy per game and then be obliterated. What I saw tonight gives me little hope that we are capabable, under the current coach, to turn things around. When the experienced players fail you, then I am not sure where we turn to.
I am hoping we haven't already put away the cue for this year - it sure looks that way. When things are in this disarray someone has to be held accountable. Loved Benji has a player, but I feel this job may be more than he can chew.
We knew it was going to be bad. This bad, I am not sure tonight. 44-0 in second half.

This is how it is. Benji, I love the guy and always will. But he’s a career loser, and he isn’t a goddamn coach. He has a ton of charisma, and he draws players, but how long is that going to last? Once opposition players see how he inept we are, not even his personality will draw players. We are screwed if Richo doesn’t bite the bullet. If he doesn’t, he’s no better than Pascoe and co.

Benji didn't show much discipline as a player. He was always rocks and diamonds. He was lucky to be surrounded by other players who kept their eyes on him and made him look more diamond than rock. He appears to coach the same way

The names of the players on the field is no excuse for a complete lack of effort by a large portion of the team,imho only 3-4 blokes had a dig for 80 minutes and that is never acceptable

There is a lot of truth in that because as outstanding as he was at his best he delivered nothing on many occasions

The sets where we made errors 3 times in a row after going 10-0 up and conceded straight after instead of extending the lead sums up the club as a whole. Just a useless team... Most teams go on to score more points off the back of that momentum and we instead concede

We have had these defeats under previous coaches. Maguire got attacked for yelling at them at half time Benji gets attacked for being a rookie. The losses occur every year when the depth is tested and it's clear the season is cooked. We gave away players mid season to stronger clubs the last two years and soon after we suffer a major thrashing. I'm convinced it destroys morale - who is a better position this week by letting Simpkin go us or him?
The strength of any club is in its depth and ours is reflective of our position. We can't improve if we don't strengthen the squad. For every player we recruit we continue to lose decent ones to other teams.
