Let's face it...

Not sure when Marshall says hel drop players if they dont turn around. Its.9 losses straight? Surely he should of dropped them earlier.

We have no depth but if you allow ill discipline in the team it is hard to stamp out.

How long before player managers start knocking on Richos door complaining their guys aren't happy with the current coach. Like they did with Sheens. Once that happens Richo will pull the pin. Personally I'd be tapping Benji on the shoulder now telling him we have a new coach coming next year. Only prob would be Luai who said he was coming to play under Benji.
I seem to recall some mumblings with the signing of Fainus?
Surely the board won’t sack Benji before Luai arrives 😩
Would be a different story if they were also accountable for continual disciplinary indiscretions.

Imagine the backlash, lol

We already had the Nofo saga

That’s not what we have all been saying so far this year.

Terrible discipline and execution, only effort was keeping it close. Once that is gone the big losses will keep coming
If fans and members cant see that the NRL is a professional sport and BUSINESS by now...then they have their heads in the sand...
You need talented, skilfull, tough and smart players and as well as talented experienced coaches to guide them through a season that can be tough and heartbreaking at times...
DO WE HAVE ALL THAT ....ABSOLUTELY NO...
We have developing kids, seniors ready for their pension and ROOKIE COACHES IN ALL DEPARTMENTS...
When Richo realises that the fantasy of Balmain and Wests marriage is a by gone era and starts administrating,recruiting,re-assembling the front office as the Wests Tigers as a whole and not a part here and part there concept, then we may have a chance at being an NRL club with pride and passion, once that eventually happens then we are on our way to success..
I keep saying ""the boys club should be no longer"",but year after year it keeps on going...
Sad but true....

Yiu said it Zigg.... Madge was too tough, sheens. Too old school despite decades of experience... They didn't work for whatever reason... We tried a different tack... Half a season into it and it ain't good
Our discipline and our mental approach is dirt.. We don't have the depth to deal with offenders by dropping them
I'm at a loss... I've no idea... But now not the time for sacking benji... Who would come here after seeing him - a rookie - get 6 or 8 months?
Ink you and I have had many a conversation over the years,I absolutely respect the input you have on the forum and I suspect you respect mine....I was a Balmain boy and you were a Maggies man...WE BOTH know what it takes to compete at this level, and in my opinion the club is at a place where they rely on the boys club for success, this is a fantasy of the past...many a time I have said that great players dont always make good coaches,Im afraid we are living this experience..
What we need is PROFESSIONALISM,until we get that then we will cop more of what we are getting....

We have bula, Galvin, the finau brothers ..etc.. all signed up for years. The Penrith boys coming will do wonders for us.
You really think so? Do you think Luai can turn this ship around with the current personnel we have? I’m afraid he’ll end up being another decent player who turns to shite once he dons the Tigers jersey or maybe he will bust his arse like Api only to lose week after week.

It’s amazing how one sole premiership nearly 20 years ago now has generated such a nostalgic culture that hangs as a dark shadow over this club. They keep reliving it, trying to emulate it, getting the band back together to bring back the glory days, which lasted only one season by the way, while most other teams just move on. I just want us to move on too and stop living in the past, an increasingly distant past at that.
