Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Richo interview

Sounds positive with moving Simpkins on for TDS , get a shot Saturday then and plays reserve grade , Disnt sound to much worry over Galvin , said he needs to play good to play along side Luai , wants to keep young guys , but my concern never mentions Stef and his contract and looking to upside our outside backs , Richo we need a centre and a prop urgent

Turuva and Olam to start in centres next year. Need a couple of powerful wingers.

We signed Turuva to play centre and Olam signed a 3 year deal. I dare say they feel they have their starting centres. My guess is they are looking for a winger.

I'd be Re-signing Alaimalo. He will be good after a full preseason along with the experience he has gained this year. He ticks a lot of boxes. Willing carrier of the ball, big body, superb under the high ball and defensive decisions have shown a steady improvement with game time.

We can definitely get a quality 2 years out of him.

That leaves Lobb, Staines, Willett and Laulilii fighting out the right wing.

I'm ok with it. Healthy competition should wield 2 decent wingers out of that lot. There isn't much to sign in the player market. Maybe Shiller from the Raiders?

I don’t mind it too much when media are butchering us, but it kind of gets me when say a friend rubbishes us without the knowledge.

And then of course, they know very little about their own side, when people here can tell us what Pole had for dinner 5 weeks ago.

They have the luxury of not having to care about a rocks or diamonds, prop in ESL but for some of us, it’s almost a matter of life or death.

Anyway, it can’t be much of a league experience to support a rival club.

An emptiness…

It’s a mad side this weekend. I just want to see how they manage. I want to see if Benji can arrest the slide with unorthodox positions. I’m not actually expecting to win, but …it would be fantastic.

Still people arguing the side will change markedly on other sites.

Like most, I was interested and somewhat amused at the comments by Lee Hagipantelis. I would say to Lee in all honesty, of the many times the Wests Tigers were mired in controversy during your reign, never once do I recall the NRL360 crew backing the Tigers. Braith, Hoops, Gordon even Read could see what is happening with Lachie and his management and have publicly called Moses out rather than consistently shame the Tigers.

That is a world of difference to where we were 12 months ago and a key reason why we are on the up.
