Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Im assuming you are another one that has no idea that Alaimalo is 30 next year. He isnt some 22 year old dev kid.
I'm assuming you're dense as a tar pit.

Alaimalo will play the entirety of next season, if he stays on, at the age of 29, then turning 30 on the 27th Dec next year.

Where on earth did I point to him being 'some 22 year old kid'?

At his age, he is still a 3-5 year prospect.

Next time, don't assume.

I think we have had this discussion many times on the forum these last 2 months and it always leaves the person suggesting Sivo with egg on their face.

If you look at Staines stats he is much better than Sivo and Ravalawa this year. You may think they are powerhouses based on prior years but they have the tiniest heart of anyone. Go look at their post contact metres compared the Staines, I think he beats them both.. and we regularly complain about Staines lack of physicality and heart yet want to replace him with worse.
How can anyone question Charlie Staines regarding playing with heart ?
He regularly runs the ball harder than anyone else in our team.

After causing the club a lot of unwanted publicity the least he could do is pick up the phone. Also love the way he is now going to see out his contract, what was his other choices…none

Brand Galvin in damage control or is it a PR exercise by both Galvin and the club to put everything to bed till Nov 2025
It puts a lot of pressure on Luai, who will be without Papali'i and maybe Utoikamanu with no replacements of note for either.

I'm not sure why but his heart was constantly being mentioned a few weeks ago. I pointed out that he bring it back harder than anyone else, while having the lightest frame and haven't heard much on it since I guess.

Staines is 5 years younger, has won a grand final and is a much brighter prospect than Alaimalo, yet you have Alaimalo ahead of him in the pecking order. I think based on that the only person who is dense as a tar pit is you.

I think next time we do something that Galvin or his parents/manager don't like, this will come up again and leak to the media.

As good as he is on the field, the off the field stuff has a bigger impact IMO. If it continues, we should drop him and focus on others.
