5 guys had their fist win yesterday. The plan is be patient while the talented young brigade learn from their mistakes. Richo will try to bring in some honest toilers to speed up the process. Winning 3 or 4 in a row is not the plan, you’d best find another pastime for a year or so if that’s the expectation.

And finally we have a long term plan , not a plan to keep coming 10th every year. I’m on board and I believe in richo, if he could turn Souths around he can do wonders here.
 
Out future is only as bright as the next game...May be short term thinking, but when you are starved of success, you want things to be turned around quicker than it has happened since 2005.
Excessive patience can sometimes result in missed opportunities.

Here and getting there : Samuela F ,Pole , Seyfarth ,
Youth future stars : Galvin , Mason , Hodges , Millar
Steady depth : Klemmer , Staines ,
Arrive 2025: Luai ,Turuva ,
Juries still out : Lobb , Ailamalo, Sione F ,Faataape
Not great but a bit of depth , Twal ,Porter ,
That's a squad of 23
Those i haven't included : Naden - Matamua ,Sullivan ,TDS
Not sure where to play Heath Mason but seen enough to know he's got x factor maybe picked at 14 being Utility instead of TDS
Bayley Hodges probably another year away but lock him up

Of course none of this matters if we can't reproduce that defensive attitude we showed 2nd half vs Titans . Take this squad and produce that defensive attitude week after week and we will make the 8 next year !!!

If we are going to be a very good team we need about 60% of our winning side on the weekend to be in reserve grade or out of the club. Might sound harsh, but most of the young ones need a couple of seasons in the lower grades with the odd game in the top grades and most of the older ones are not going to make the grade.

Next year we need another couple of quality players if Luai is going to lift us up the ladder to challenge the eight.

Beating the Coast was good for the supporters and team morale but other than that there was not a lot to take out of the game
 
The next 4 games are against top 8 teams, including 1st and 3rd. If we can win any of them it would be a minor miracle.

But with 3 more games still at Leichhardt and the cavalry coming next year, i hope we stay strong and keep building the foundations for a strong 2025.

All six of our remaining games are Home Games.

Good experience for the younger brigade, we might get pumped in a few games but the experience of playing the top 8 teams will teach them valuable lessons about what it takes to be a good N.R.L player and team, I'll be stoked if we're competitive with a side of kids who should still be in reserves.

I've never seen him do anything at NRL level ,I know he's had little opportunity but the only evidence so far is a little vague .Played almost no NRL and has he starred at Cup level ?
I've not seen it so far !
Our half's on the books for 2025 Galvin ,Luai ,Sezer and maybe Mason and Sullivan is still on the books .So is he needed ? I'm open minded but need to see something
However if he's as good as his brother Samuela than I'm supportive .
