Adam Doueihi #227

So he says in that radio interview that he is on more than the minimum.. so can we put to bed that he is only costing $150k… we don’t know how much he is on as he doesn’t have an agent to leak it

If he’s Keen on lock then train him there all summer and use him as a 14 when the sting goes out of the game. He could be a huge game breaker
Why do so many of you view him as a potential lock? I've not seen a single aspect of his game that suggests he is suited there other than perhaps his size.

It’s wishful thinking to try to fit him into the side … considering we have 73 halves already on the books and coming through the juniors

More importantly are there any other Lebanese prospects we should be signing?
Tigers have historically been very good at snapping up young lebs.
I'd say the best in the league.

Tony Sukkar will be the be the best 2nd rower in the NRL one day. We have him locked.

the gabriel brothers are who I'd look at.

I'd love to say Khaled Rajab as a work in progress project, one of those guys that would come good and be a star cody Walker style but has not progressed in the right time, and only given a shot that was doomed to fail when playing against the knights last year when they ripped the doggs, but unfortunately where the tigerpies are at now, we cant afford such players in our system. We have alot of kids already and need to focus on established talent or ready made utility value. He would be better in Melb or Roosters or where he is now at sharks supplement where they can afford to experiment.
We only have 1-3 spots free in our 30 next year to it's worth nothing.
We somehow need to fit a strike centre and back rower, a prop, a tackling machine and a utility in that and somehow improve depth.

It's great to see that Adam Doueihi is finally back to play first grade.

I have a questions though:

Have WT increased their paltry 1 year offer to him?

Do you think he'll settle for a spot in the centres or do you think he'll push for his preferred position as a #6 or for fullback?

I've always rated his attack, but was not so convinced of his defence, can the team carry him if his defence hasn't improved since he last played?

Anyways, I hope he goes well. He does give the team another option for kicker, both for goal kicking & in general play.

I'm just hoping he's match fit & able to put in a solid performance, I hope he doesn't try to overplay his hand first few games back.

Meanwhile, what's the go with Starford Toa? Any idea when he might be back?

yup he will be in 3-4 weeks according to the tigers phsyio

Im a bit worried hes starting center today...tough position after a long break, very tough on knees and a difficult position to defend in ...hope he goes well we;ll see

I think its just next year heas been offered

Agree but we have no one else.

At least at center his work rate should be lower than in the halves or lock - he is opposite side to Strange normally which is a good thing.

Just hope when the Raiders put a kick up he shows urgency to help Luke out. Can see Luke getting tested up against Cotric.
