Come on Tom... Speaking for myself only this mornings the first time I heard of this... I'd say the same for many others

It's starting to get outta hand imo it seems to me we'll have 5 grounds called home

CSS
LO
Commbank ($$ rounds)
Allianz (indigenous round )
SunCorp(magic round)

Do I have it wrong?
Could have been worse, we could still be at Tamworth. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Fwiw, the Dragons seem to make Kogarah and Wollongong work without a fuss.

Flanagan has moved some of the training sessions to Kogarah. Seems to be a retrograde step.

Additionally, each of their grounds has been redeveloped within the last 20 years and have a higher capacity compared to ours. Besides that, they seem to have had just as many issues as we have since they won the competition in 2010 and lack direction.

I'm not sure if they have been struggling to produce their own players or if it's poor management, but our problems have mainly stemmed from not securing our 'best' youth players over the past 10 years as they come through, and also from recruiting terribly which all had a knock on effect.

Didn't Richo come out and say that we will not be taking home games to Tamworth, we will not be taking home games to New Zealand, and as soon as our contract for home games in Magic Round ends we will not be asking to host more, as he wanted all games in Sydney so the fans, sorry members, could attend (and corporates I guess)?

If the plan mentioned in here is correct, then he seems to be backflipping on that. Cannot say I am impressed with him on that move, just gives me small feelings of nothing changing, despite the outright claims it will, or in other words, the same as it has been.

Probably the most positive thing I could say about Brydens would be that that they come across as so inept that with the no win, no fee policy in place, as a client you would rarely be paying.
Perhaps, but if you win, they might take so much of it in fees, you could be left with a much smaller amount than if you went somewhere else. Hard to say.

I think Lee and Co should have been able to read the review but there could have been a lot of defamatory statements made and HB wanted to protect its sources.

At any rate, it doesn’t help Lee to try to harm our current and future interests.

Sometimes the best policy is to be patient and composed.

But clubbing Richo over the head is pointless, because there is no going back.

I was looking at some of our charitable causes yesterday and there’s one Ivan Cleary chucking in a couple of grand to help us out.

It’s a small gesture on his salary, but it’s a kind thing nonetheless and he’s not running around singing his own praises over it.

Hurts me to say it, but good effort Ivan.

I can tell you Ivan and his family have done a lot for some good friends of mine who are in a horrible situation. I hated the guys for a while, but if people knew some of things he does you couldn't possibly hate the guy.

But I personally would receive much personal gratification from clubbing him over the head.

I am a man of simple pleasures.

Hate to have to reply to my own post, but I should have added that on the negative side, you would also be rarely winning.

I wish Richo would come out and give some positive info on what’s going on , doesn’t need to names etc regarding signing but just come out via Hooper or other in a interview and say
yes we are looking at 2/3/4 players currently and have had discussions with their managers , players in positions we need to strengthen ,looking like we will pickup 2 at least so far
Galvin will stay and his contract will be updated and extended , currently in the process of that , Stef has put talks on hold as we’re make some tweaks to his offer and we are very positive Stef will remain with the club on a long term deal etc etc
just saying negotiations are on hold is not very good for team moral , players would want him to stay and hearing it’s all on hold is negative vibe , Richo bring out some positives asap ,

Yeah, I prefer the folk who stay a bit quiet on these things.

Well they are only going to take on cases they think are winners.

So they reduce the risk.

But the expense of the legal system still lets people down. Not just lawyers but courts etc aren’t funded properly and the system generally antiquated.
