The best thing about today?

Parra..in the rear view mirror..

Seriously, though, they say that old age and treachery will always beat youth and exuberance. Today this team proved that this isn't always the case. They went out there to enjoy themselves, almost free from the heavy weight that can be the coaches'instructions. Two wins in a row is something new, for us (this year). To then put almost 50 points on a top 8 team, and for them to only be a real threat when we were down to 12 men, takes this performance to legendary status. We may be witnessing (as some on here have predicted, to their credit) a rebirth of this club. For now. we celebrate the return of success. Boys, proud of your efforts.

Parra is definitely the cherry. But really, the story is how good Galvin is. Anyone who still believe‘s he should be let go has rocks in their head. You can keep Latu. His brother on the other hand, good lord can that boy play. Only 20 too.

The story is that Ricky Stuart has to drive 2.5hrs thinking about how the Wests Tigers outmuscled his team and scored 48 points. Hahaha

Sam Fainu is in buy of the season discussions.

Edit: the Papali’i release not looking so silly.

Putting some perspective on our situation: Parra, Titans and Rabbitohs all have the BYE = 2 points each. So if we don't beat the Roosters next week we are back to the bottom of the NRL bird Cage. But, for now, let's sing the team song and drink more beer! 🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻

Douehi at centre. Something many of us called for for ages.
X factor, speed, guile.
Changes our backline, our go forward, our unpredictability.
If he plays like this for even half his games it’s a huge success.
Olam and an in-form Douehi is a proper NRL centre pairing. We haven’t had that in a very long time.

Agree, possibly since Ayshford, Whaituira and Lawrence.
And we will get Luai and Turuva the next season. 🙂 💪🐅
