Firstly, stats about our losses aren't event worth talking about. We won 8 games in 2 years so no one has a good win record.

Secondly, I hammered him on here when he dogged it and will again if he dogs in future. I have no problem admitting I never wanted to see him play for us again and also on problem admitting that was foolish as I really enjoyed the yesterday, induign the narrative of his come back.

Thirdly he had done things in games at times that have been instrumental in winning us games, including orchestrating a 20-point plus comeback single-handedly at some point.

I appreciate you see things very black and white, but I don't.

Watching his inept defence give up two tries without laying a hand on a single attacking player makes me depressed!

He is incapable of reading defence & learning - like a certain former player who will be playing for Glebe this weekend!

He has lost US far more games than he has won due to his sub-standard outright lousy and low effort defence!!

You fail to see defence as a critical component of the game - regardless of shades of grey!

Loved what he brought at centre, searching for the footy taking tough carries out of his own end, and putting up the odd kick. He was great, that should be the blue print moving forward, hope he can be convinced to stay in the centres thought he was sensational.

Man. None of us knew that he could run like a centre... well, some of you did... due respect there.....

AD played well yesterday; but we can't gloss over the two poor efforts when Seyfarth was in the bin. If he had made a couple of poor reads you could pass it off as a lack of game time; but, it was more than that. As soon as the play went by he made no effort. On the other side of the field Naden not only held his nerve in defence he also put in plenty of effort to make up for the inevitable misread when you are down a man.

Don't get me wrong AD had a lot of effort plays off the ball and was damaging in attack; but, unless he can address the defensive issues he isn't the player we need to get into the top four and then winning a competition. I'm not calling for his head just yet - but his deficiencies can't be overlooked because he is a good bloke who has gone through a hard time.

I trust that Morris and Benji pull him aside and point out how poor he was in the attitude/effort areas when we switched our defensive patttern. I really want AD to prove me wrong and lead from the front on both sides of the ball, not just in attack.

I actually agree that his defence is problematic in every position he's played. Please read the whole post.

I'm also allowed to enjoy yesterday, stop carrying on.
