There's a bit of reality needed for both the pro & con Doueihi'ists.
His defence is not great.
His attack is great.
We cannot score points.
Doueihi offers the ability to score points we previously lacked.
If he isn't the complete package, but is our best wide attacking weapon- how much does top-tier defence matter?
If he is 'passable' but has solid defenders either side of him- can his short comings be masked by the advantages he offers?
I'm an unabashed Doueihi supporter & have been since I found out he was coming to the club. His lack of victories, while a fun stat, doesn't single him out as the lone ranger in responsibility.
It is no surprise to me that once we had some big mobile bodies out wide, we start being able to produce sweeping attacking movements. This isn't even taking into consideration the upgrade in kick pressures out wide.
Doueihi might even make Charlie Staines a viable option out wide.
