No smart club will offer Stefano that kind of money. If this 900K is accurate from Dragons and Raiders it’s beyond ridiculous. Hell it’s ridiculous that we’re offering 800K for a player that’s only played 12 minutes in an Origin game. Nothing worth blowing that kind of money on. If he takes it that’s his choice, but I’m not gonna lose sleep for him leaving on that kind of money when 99% of NRL fans know he’s not even worth close to that. 600K at best for a player like him. If he stays so be it, but if he leaves for that kind of money he will not be missed as he’s apart of the club failing the forward pack. Only idiots would be considering upping the offer to match that if it is legit.
 
Yeah nah not 900k for potential. He’s 24 and hasn’t shown signs of hitting his peak.

Based off his playing capabilities alone he is worth 400-500k.

Add his size, bump him up to 650-700.

They signed Cook which offsets a portion of Lomax cash.
De Belin might be gone though.
Dragons don’t have a war chest for next year.

$4.5M over 5 years sounds like spin from his manager. As others have said, our offer was generous enough. I just don’t believe another club would be entertaining more than that, let alone two!

But hey, if they are they can take him!

It could just be manager spin but no smart club ain’t gonna pay him nowhere near that kind of money.

If one of the stronger clubs come into play he may possibly leave, let’s not get ahead of ourselves saying he’ll stay until we have official confirmation. But if they do, they certainly won’t offer the same amount of what’s currently been offered by us and Dragons and Raiders.

Reported he wants to stay in Sydney.

Only genuine premiership options are Panthers or Roosters. Doubt he goes to either especially for that sought of money.

The Eels or Rabbits may turn a corner next year but I doubt the Eels have the $$$ or Stef would go there. The Rabbits may be the smokies with Bennett.

Outside of that I think he stays with us.

Dragons & Raiders surely not.

Storm, yes but again don't think Victoria is an option.

Feeling like Richo is just appeasing his manager.

The pure fact that all 16 rival NRL clubs would sign him in a heartbeat surely tells you the bloke has a fair amount of ability.
I’m starting to think you are like Billy Slater believing Kurt Capewell and Felise Kaufusi are better players than David Fifita.
