CEO - Shane Richardson

It's not the only Sydney option. We already use more than 1 ground.

Why does everyone think it's Campbelltown or homelessness?
Because it's the truth.

The other sydney stadiums either mean we share, like the unwanted flat guest aka Parra Stadium.

OR

We become homeless. Concord/Balmain isn't an area big enough for us. Even the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs know they will need to leave Bankstown at some stage. Yet Bankstown is far bigger and clearly defined.

Im not going to hold the home ground future too much against Shane Richardson at this stage. It will take a few years for progress work and update to both Leichhardt and Campbelltown and in the interim I suppose as much as I dont like it its Bankwest as a partial filler.

Leichhardt and Campbelltown still have questions over long term viability,

I do think shared home grounds are the way to go but in this I feel its the NRL that has dropped the ball and not provided guidance and structure to the pathway ahead- leading politically powerful / opportune clubs to take advantage of political fortunes.

South Sydney has had their local ground upgraded, Roosters (and Souths) had Football Stadium, Penrith having their home ground replaced, Parra with Bankwest replacing Cumberland Oval.

Instead the NRL should have said / declared we have a minimum standard of ground now and for the future, there will be no more than 4 or 5 shared facilities in Sydney basin for the Sydney base teams to share as their home grounds. Smaller stadiums with seating and facilities for 35,000 people will be created in areas bordering 1/ central Sydney 2/ northwest Sydney 3/ West Sydney 4/ Southern Sydney and maybe 5/ Southwest Sydney.

Who, what and how the Sydney based teams share these facilities for playing is up to them.

I disagree. The Magpies were founded in Ashfield and their supporter base was the inner west.

The outer West thing is relatively new considering the clubs history.

I have said this before. Don't second guess this stuff. My view is we need address data on members and match attendees to understand where our support actually comes from.

If the data says our support is out west, then go for it based on the data. I think that's a reasonable position to take. If not though....then what? Keep spruiking Campbelltown regardless?...let's get real and start doing things properly.

I take your point... But I can't see Ashfield leagues proping us up and I can't see us fighting Souths/Easts/etc for that inner city support.

The Liverpool stadium idea IMHO is the real solution.

Close to transport, Accessible for C-town supporters and capturing that south west supporter base.

Ofcourse it's a mute point. With how our team is on the field, who's going to be turning up?

I would really like to know how many people are willing to buy a CommBank Stadium membership next season, can someone create a poll?

Needless to say, I have no clue how to do it.

Parramatta is basically the demographic heart of Sydney. It doesn't make sense only one team plays out of such a quality stadium there. I think trams are going in near by.

If we could regularly belt the Eels there and other wins it would feel great and be great business being based in Parramatta. Wests could establish a club there.

I never had a problem going there, it's just we don't win.

I know I'm Robinson Cruseo on this one.

I live a 5 minute bus ride from there so I was selfishly hoping some games might be played there. So you are not flying solo.

I would love to see the date on members ( post codes ) then run a pole for paying member to say what ground they would have as their number 1 choice for home ground , you need to base it on people who turn up to the games

Give the money to Pole. I’ve been on about the lack of action all season. Uto is a solid prop like Kamakicka if they hold him at 800k it’s overs but for us worth it in potential. Klemmer is the one that needs to be moved on.

Exactly. Pole is the leader of this pack and he has earnt it the hard way.

Leave it up to you Ink with your expertise in that area.

Just genuinely concerned about loss of memberships, because like me, there are a lot of people that despite it being a great stadium, people see it as nothing other than the home ground of the Parra-sites and refuse to accept it as one of our home grounds.

Fair enough that the 'Riff are going there for a couple of seasons but generally speaking, it is still basically close to their home area and they have a brand new stadium to go back to at the end of it all.

I certainly will not ever go back there again and despite the fact that Accor/ANZ/Olympic Park is a cavern with very little soul on most occasions and is shared by a couple of teams already, it still feels like a more neutral venue than CommBank ever will.

I have been to Campbelltown once and I will never go back there , the place has no atmosphere it is a dump , better playing at the 8 th wonder of the world , look how many turned up to watch the dolphins game , the atmosphere was unreal , can u imagine if we were in the top 4
Your full of shit BP. Talk about having an agenda

Leichhardt is a dump as well. Just more popular.

It's been a very long time, I find it very hard to imagine us in the top 4.
