It's not the only Sydney option. We already use more than 1 ground. That’s fair enough but it’s the only Sydney option. We will end up extinct in the inner west over time. Not enough room for eels, dogs and tigers.
Everyone keeps trying to move away from the history that made them great. Not working out well for anyone.I agree with everything you say. Problem is we can’t live in the past have to build west and move there it will become its own version of Syndey in 20 years. It’s like Thanos inevitable.
So the players have to like a ground in order to win there? No wonder people claim this club is unprofessional. Thanks, as always, for your feedback.
Not making excuses Ink, just thought the size was a bit disappointing until I thought about the timing. We’ve had too many 3pm games already imo. And I will lay the boot into CSS for sure coz I’ve never liked it and after 10 losses obviously neither do the players. But think there’ll be a bigger crowd there this week which is what I said in my previous post.
But I’m really enjoying the win mate, don’t worry about that. Got my head up high for a change, however, think we’ll resume normal transmission this week.
it did in 2005Id rather us pick one home ground even if it’s one of the bigger stadiums. Playing at 3+ home grounds has never worked for us.
I doubt it, when Hayne was at the Gold Coast he declared it was his house and I would assume that the Titan's would have retained possession of the title deeds after Jarryd moved to the Big House. 🤣Do you think we beat the Titans last week if it was played at Campbelltown?
Quite good actually apart from the odd collapsed railing, nothing really to be concerned about.Another realistic post. What's Leichhardt record last 10 games???
My main issue is that it's Parra's home ground. Right in the heart of Parramatta.. I know they're trying to market it as a shared stadium, like Accor, but in reality it just isn't the same thing.Commbank = souless concrete sxxxbox
I have been to Campbelltown once and I will never go back there , the place has no atmosphere it is a dump , better playing at the 8 th wonder of the world , look how many turned up to watch the dolphins game , the atmosphere was unreal , can u imagine if we were in the top 4Everyone keeps trying to move away from the history that made them great. Not working out well for anyone.
Campbo has no history other than 50 years of losses.
Completely agree. My main issue is that it's Parra's home ground. Right in the heart of Parramatta.. I know they're trying to market it as a shared stadium, like Accor, but in reality it just isn't the same thing.
Yep just like state and local councils do before a major works get under way 😜I asked Richo whether he would ask the members for our opinions on our experiences at the various stadia in sydney. His reply was just that we'll be the first to know what the plan is, not that we'll be consulted in any way whatsosever. Think it's a huge mistake not to consult the clubs major stakeholder on sucg things. They don't have to do exactly what we say but making decisions without consultation doesn't usually lead to positive outcomes.
I spent 3 years at Bankwest as a WT member...I hated going there, not only because we rarely won, but it just felt like an away game!Completely agree.
Maybe....even fans who are not WT followers acknowledge the atmosphere at L.O. is second to none...There is something at the ground that other grounds just dont have....can't exactly put my finger on it.I find it rich coming from fans that "the stadium doesn't have any atmosphere", when all stadia are just a grandstand/hill and a field. It's the fans that give it atmosphere.
In saying that though, Campbelltown to my knowledge has never had a winning NRL team. Wests glory days were gone before they moved to Campbelltown and Wests Tigers.. well.
Atmosphere will only come once we start winning there.
Leichardt's so called atmosphere is due to the history- and the small period from 09-12 when we had a couple of memorable games.
This my friends is why Cambos crowds are always poorI have been to Campbelltown once and I will never go back there , the place has no atmosphere it is a dump , better playing at the 8 th wonder of the world , look how many turned up to watch the dolphins game , the atmosphere was unreal , can u imagine if we were in the top 4
